Lie detector tests have been meaningless to me ever since an article in Photography magazine almost 40 years ago.
They baited three lie detector companies about a fictitious theft in the office and tole them they suspected “Bill” did it.
Two of them said he did it and the third said it was possible but inconclusive. Bill was not in on the ruse and nothing had ever been stolen.
They’re trying to replicate the Roy Moore effect where they drive Evangelicals to stay home on election day.
I’m still trying to figure out how this is relevant to anyone besides his wife.

Polygraph tests are easy to pass. All you need to do is convince yourself of what you claim. I’ve known many people who have passed lie detector tests, and they were lying. Some thing like admitting to unprotected sex for a porn star would be a snap for goodness sake.
