Different bomber?
This is very scary, and I hope it doesnt inspire copycats.
I read that the tripwire was attached to a For Sale sign that had been placed in front of a house that actually wasnt for sale. Possibly they meant to lure the owner out to take the sign down, which would trigger the bomb.
I also saw that of the earlier three bombings, one was possibly a mistake, so to speak, because it had been left at a house with a different address from the one on the package. (Possibly the one that killed the older Hispanic lady?)
I think theyll get the bombers, unless this is truly a random nutcase, if they can find a link between these people or these addresses. In the meanwhile, it must be a terrifying situation for Austin residents.
Saw a report in some obscure place that said they were activated by an optical motion detecting device. Maybe one from a security light?
"...tripwire..."
Unabomber II?
It was thought yesterday that the bomb went off in a house, and the the two twenty year olds may have been the bomb makers. It looks like that is no longer the case?
Was it a fully-automatic, military-style, assault tripwire?
Who are the targets, or is it random?
I think police are now warning people to avoid ANYTHING - not just packages - that they find in their yard, that they did not put there themselves.
