WaPo/Laura Ingraham reporting ...........
Thats what I thought. The firing may effect his future health benefits after one year. He can still continue with Cobra as any other employee. With his income, I dont think a health insurance premium is going to break his bank. His enrollment with the federal life insurance program may also be removed.
But, his thrift savings plan and retirement (and govt matched amount) is still his. Not sure how distribution takes place after being fired. It may not be any different once he reaches retirement age.
Woo-Hooooo! And on St. Paddy’s day, no less! :)
“One has to be exceedingly patient.”
Nonsense! The fact of the matter is that virtually nothing has been done for more than a year. I understand the judicial process is slow, but it hasn’t even started with regard to virtually everything that relates to the DOJ/FBI. All we’ve been treated to in large measure is these departments stonewalling the Congressional committees charged with oversight responsibilities. That’s not the “wheels of justice grinding slowly,” it’s outright obstruction of justice. That which is at stake, demands action NOW! It’s distressing to me that you don’t see it in that light. Trump is probably this country’s last chance at remaining a Constitutional Republic, because the RATs, when they are able to get control once again, plan to obliterate the Constitution, and make America another European-style Marxist/Socialist State, where there is little or no freedom. You need to loose your patience, unless that’s what you want to occur. If people who think like you prevail, we’re finished.
Ahahahahahahaha lolololololol
A little emotional aren’t you?
I hope sessions is lining things up behind the scenes. But it takes faith to believe that is so because at this point there has been precious little evidence.
“Net worth of $11 million? Good grief - what was his annual income? Sounds like a pretty fat savings account for a public servant.”
Well, the only thing that jumps out at me is the fact that his wife is a doctor in Virginia. I just hope he’s treated to the financial fleecing that his agency brought upon Mike Flynn. Flynn had to sell his home to pay his lawyers to defend himself against Mueller.
I would say its time to arrest Mccaabe.

I agree. But it must be done at the right time. I think everything is being done as precisely and timely as possible. It must not be done haphazardly or they will get off.
Yes, it must be put in the proper prospective. We are so used to instant gratification. That it all be done properly and timely is all important. It’s frustrating but we must be patient.

You’re really going to upset the McGrumpsters who think the Swamp is taken down in one fell swoop and complex prosecutions are done in three hours.
So many realize now how stupid the attacks on AG Sessions have been while others demand more crow.
They’ll be getting their fill.
Well said and right on.
Also note that he actually covered by the Senior Executive Service rather than the more common General Services. The insurance and delay noted are for GS employees. The rules may not be so strict for SES, who have it pretty easy.
I will agree Sessions does not “need” to save his job. He is well stocked with benefits from his years as Senator.
But it is obvious to me Sessions is a laid back guy. He was a back bencher in Senate. He is not known to ruffle feathers. He is a classic bureaucrat, who works methodically at glacial pace.
That is not what the country needs to drain the swamp. AG is the chief law enforcement officer. We need a person with high courage, not a back bencher.
We’re going to find out.
Exactly why the swamp is humongous, the country does not need bureaucratic pace to act on draining the swamp.
Can you name TWO high profile things Sessions achieved in US Senate? He is too old, too dowdy, and too nice. Exactlt the wrong person to DRAIN THE HUMONGOUS SWAMP.
Trump nominated him out of loyalty, since Sessions was one of the first conservative senators to jump on the Trump Train. The next day old dowdy Sessions recuses himself based on advice from swamp lawyers at Justice!
How I wish it was someone fearless and wily and feisty with the liberal MSM as donut lover boy from NJ or a doggedly never give up congressman like Devin Nunes.
IG wants a special council. Boom
Trump clear of Russian collusion by House Intel. Committee Boom

Very well said. Please read my post #734.
The soon to come special council will get Mueler, Clapper, Comey, Lynch, Susan Rice, Samatha Powers, and Obama for illegally spying on citizens.
I guess you haven’t read trump’s tweets?
