President Donald Trump has been formulating a plan to fire Attorney General Jeff Sessions, Vanity Fair reported on Wednesday. Sessions has been a target of Trump's ire since he recused himself from the FBI's Russia investigation last March, following reports that he was not forthcoming during his Senate confirmation hearing about his contacts with Russian officials during the 2016 campaign season. Sessions' recusal is a key point of frustration for Trump, who once reportedly asked why he couldn't order "my guys" at the "Trump Justice Department" to do what"weak" and McCabe, whom Trump described as "a Comey friend who McCabe was forced out of the FBI earlier this year amid an internal investigation into his handling of the Clinton email probe. On Wednesday, The New York Times reported that Sessions is weighing whether or not to fire McCabe over his alleged misconduct days before he's set to retire. Trump's tweets last summer came after he admitted, during an interview with The Times the previous week, that he would not have nominated Sessions to be attorney general if he had known Sessions would recuse himself from the Russia investigation. "Sessions should have never recused himself, and if he was going to recuse himself, he should have told me before he took the job, and I would have picked somebody else," Trump told the outlet. Sessions said this weekend that he believes he made the right decision by stepping aside from the DOJ's Russia investigation. The special counsel Robert Mueller is believed to be focusing on the time period last summer when Trump ramped up his attempts to pressure Sessions to carry out his suggestions. That inquiry makes up one thread of Mueller's investigation into whether Trump sought to obstruct justice when he fired FBI director James Comey last May.

We, and Trump, have been without an AG since the arrival of Sessions, already. Sessions demurred to the next in line, to the hold overs in the JD eschelon of the Obama-Holder Swamp creeps.
Trump has had to go around him, since Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell were/are ready to launch an insurrection if Trump fired Mr. Magoo. It is odd that Trump didn’t accept his resignation, when Sessions offered it, but why have a dust up with the hill when Trump knows very well how to go around an obstacle, even when the obstacle is sitting right in front of him, at JD.
President Trump should have fired that weasel the minute it became clear that he was a Deep State mole. Failure to do so has cost the President and our country dearly.
I was referring to Trump suing Cal instead of arresting public officials who assist illegal immigration, get citizens killed, refuse to honor federal warrants, and warn illegals about raids interfering with peace officers in the performance of their duties.

He hired the man and the man ran, so he floated a plan to go around the man. Ryan and McConnell are left pacified and Sessions takes up oxygen. Trump is romping anyway.
Who knows, Sessions may prove a useful squatter, a tool to please the Left and the RINOS, while the earth is actually being removed under their feet. I don’t know. Sessions deserves to be fired.
It’s one thing for the fools to be leading other fools down this path. That’s what the DNC Media does for a living. But at this late hour that so many here are buying it is truly something. Sad!
Once more AG Jeff Sessions is going to take another chink out of the armor of the seditionists and traitors. McCabe is not facing the loss of his retirement. That’s done. He’s squealing to avoid far worse in prosecution.
Does everyone think President Trump was joking about the countdown to McCabe’s attempted escape with retirement?

Liked him as a senator. As AG though, I have growing doubts about his willingness to move against the PERPS. He is not battle-ready in my opinion. President needs someone much more aggressive and knowledgeable. Let Sessions go while you can.

A lot of people will be eating crow but what can you do? Even with AG Sessions revealing he’s attached a prosecutor to the DOJ IG Michael Horowitz months ago they still don’t have a clue what’s going down. The DC Swamp Rats certainly do.
What exactly is a prosecutor needed for when the Investigator General has no indictment powers?
