Liked him as a senator. As AG though, I have growing doubts about his willingness to move against the PERPS. He is not battle-ready in my opinion. President needs someone much more aggressive and knowledgeable. Let Sessions go while you can.

I keep thinking of Joe DiGenoova for AG position.

...”Trump’s tweets last summer came after he admitted, during an interview with The Times the previous week, that he would not have nominated Sessions to be attorney general if he had known Sessions would recuse himself from the Russia investigation. “Sessions should have never recused himself, and if he was going to recuse himself, he should have told me before he took the job, and I would have picked somebody else.”...

If I were the President, I would have felt betrayed that Sessions withheld this most important intention from me until after he took the job. He should have been removed on the day he recused himself. That matter was too important not to have an acting AT. Sessions should be fired and Joe DiGenova should become AG.
