Lamb vs. Saccone Special Election PA18
NY Times ^ | March 13, 2018

A thread to discuss the results.

I feel like Lamb has a lot of momentum, has run as a moderate, and has run a better campaign. I'll predict he'll win tonight (although I'd like to see Saccone win).

NYT does a good job with election results.

Depending on where these are, Saccone would have to take them 55-45.

Yep...still hard to believe he will take them 55/45. We’ll see

Negative. Don’t equate the Trump vote with less than marginal R candidates just because they’re Rs. Don’t forget how long it’s been since an R won in places like PA and WI and MI. It want the Rs, it was Trump. People voted for him and his message (and against Hillary) not the party and the Rs running in the mid terms better understand that. There’s no guarantee just because you’re an R.

Eeked out! According to @LarrySchweikart again: “Hearing that Saccone has won by 690 votes.” All prayers and glory to the Lord and thank you POTUS!

Well then LS has the inside track.

I've been using the PA Department of State website where it is stuck at 96.80% precincts reporting.

According to our fine friend, LS Larry Schweikart@LarrySchweikart, Saccone nips it out.

NY Slimes slow walking in the last two points (98% in). Can’t be good for Lamb +585 and slipping.

“So you’re saying there’s a chance!”

lol We need at least a couple minute warning of a win to tune to MSNBC and watch the resistance lose it.

Peters Twp is a 60/40 kind of good district :-)!

I was happily wrong in my prediction Lamb would win by 5.

The liberal Monmouth poll turned out to be dead wrong.

Saccone will likely win Peters’ Township - lots of conservative votes there to help him eke out a win.

11 million is not a lot in elections especially for tv adverts

how much did Lamb spend? THAT is the issue.
