Washington (CNN)In a defiant CNN interview, former Trump campaign aide Sam Nunberg said Monday he refuses to comply with a grand jury subpoena in the Russia investigation. "Screw that," Nunberg told CNN's Gloria Borger. "Why do I have to go? Why? For what?" But Nunberg said that he is not refusing to comply in order to protect President Donald Trump. "No I'm not protecting him, but he didn't do anything," Nunberg said. "You know what he did? He won the election."

“Tipsy or something” is right. Maybe it’s just lack of sleep due to being so angry, and he’s obviously that.
The two phone calls I’ve heard were bizarre. He has to know all this talk is getting him into hot water yet he’s doing it any way.
Guess we’ll see if he sticks to his guns and is a no-show.

CNN played the phone call in its entirety a little while ago, and Jake Tapper just talked to him. Sounds like he’s talking to EVERYONE today.
He needs to shut up. He keeps saying, “Arrest me,” and that’s what they’re going to do.

By law you have to give a bond after 90 days anyway; or at least that is true for ACTUAL felonies. No clue about contempt.

By law you have to give a bond after 90 days anyway; or at least that is true for ACTUAL felonies. No clue about contempt. In contempt the judge can fine, jail, or both. And there is no set sentence on contempt charges; the judge can keep you there as long as they like if you continue to refuse to comply with the court order. People have been jailed for months on contempt charges. There was a case where a guy spent 15 years in jail for refusing to comply with a court order.

How was this guy a "Trump campaign aide" if he's not a fan of Donald Trump? He was a campaign aide .. for quite a while. He's not a fan of the President's because he doesn't like that Trump replaced him. (I don't know the details of why)
