Police confirm the two people shot have succumbed to their injuries.

Police describe the suspect as a black male wearing mustard yellow jeans and a blue hoodie. He is considered to be armed and dangerous.
10:05 a.m.
Students on campus are instructed to take shelter, said Lt. Cameron Wassman of the Central Michigan Police Department.
9:45 a.m.
Michigan State Police say two people have been shot. Their conditions are not known at this time.

Suspect is not a white male so this will get little press outside of Central Michigan.
Even "mild dislike speech" and "extremely civil disagreement speech" are regarded as exactly the same as attacking someone with a tire iron.
One might say, "Then you might as well start with the tire iron," but that's a lot of work when you can get the same effect by saying, "I believe your view is erroneous."

The left wing has been using stochastic terrorism for a number of years. This involves, through violence, creating a new normal in which violence becomes acceptable in situations that were previously handled by telling someone to just go away.
Correlation is not causation.
Someone who blames the world for not suiting their delusion or giving them everything they want can develop a vicious hatred of the world. And, like Cain, their decision is to take down the most successful or stick it to God/the world by taking away as many innocent as possible, seeing it as rightful vengeance.
That many of them are treated for depression or another mental illness is not surprising.
That we don’t deal with the entitled and arrogant attitudes might be except that social justice political teachers are TEACHING these views, that the world oppresses you, that the world hates you, so burn it all down or tear down those who stand in your way.
So when entire college departments are teaching this way of thinking guaranteed to create bitter, vengeful creatures who hate everyone for not following their orders to create an impossible utopian dream, of course medical professionals won’t admit the victimhood mindset is a problem ... they and their administrative peers in the academy think it is RIGHT to have such a world view.

Every classroom in our school had an exit only door. The second and third floor had the same with fire escapes.
Schools/grades need to be separated by designing smaller buildings so that one building is holding no more than say 500 students.
Hogg is looking for a free ride for college. I haven’t heard that he is some kind of excellent student. In fact, I’m now thinking he might be a C student.
As an extension of my reply, I’ll bet, at this point, that there probably isn’t a single school district of any size in this country any more that doesn’t have at least one crazy boy in attendance that everyone knows about and nothing can be done about.

What is going on is simple, there is no moral or ethical standards in place almost anywhere like schools, homes, or businesses. It is a if it feels ok do it society these days. No impulse controls whatsoever. Frankly, you don’t even have to be a follower of any religion, just read the foundations of western civilization which seems to begin with the Greek Scholars. Before that, there was the very good sense in the Bible, like the ten commandments.
