Colton Haab, a student who survived last week’s mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, refused to participate in a CNN Town Hall on Wednesday night after he was told to ask a “scripted” question.
Haab, a junior at the high school, told Fort Lauderdale ABC affiliate WPLG that CNN invited him to speak at the televised town hall in nearby Sunrise, Florida, and that he and his parents had dressed up for the occasion.
But CNN then told Haab he would have to read a question that CNN had prepared for him:

I will have to ask why these students are being hailed as “survivors” as if they accomplishment something that makes them experts with a right to be heard. There were thousands of students in that building, and most were untouched.
If they were in the line of fire, they are survivors. If they saw it, they were justifiably terrified. If they only heard the gunshots, they were horrified.
The parents of the students that were murdered are the ones who have the right to protest, be seen and heard.
That picture of the few activists taken a few days after the tragedy revealed happy students with big smiles.

I was visiting a neighbor a couple days ago who was asking about the “17” schools shootings this year and grabs a TIME Magazine to read to me. Needless to say, I proceeded to explain the lie call the rag every name in the book. This wasn’t the first time I went off on the neighbor about cancelling the subscription.
“I think any of these kids that were not shot at or injured aren not survivors of a this shooting but just were in school at the time of the shooting”.......
I can also honestly claim “I am a survivor”. Hell, I wasn’t even IN that school, nor was I in Florida. That’s the truth! Now tell me since you know the facts, is that “fake news”?

How the hell can CNN after being caught so many times even call themselves a news channel.
It is a advocacy info commercial for the far left plain and simple.

I would have said ok and then asked my question and i would have also mentioned how they tried to make me speak from a script.
In all fairness Stephen’s motive was far nobler than CNN’s.
The "children" saying we are too immature to buy guns before we turn 21 but, we must vote and shape what policies regarding Constitutional rights should be.

If the left wants to raise the age to 21 for guns then let us agree and raise the age for voting, driving in a by partisan agreement, and then let us see if the Dems want that.
