A coalition that includes a Latino membership organization and a former Massachusetts governor filed lawsuits on Wednesday challenging how four U.S. states allocate their Electoral College votes in presidential elections. The lawsuits were filed in federal courts in Massachusetts and California, states that went for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in 2016, and South Carolina and Texas, where a majority of votes went to Republican U.S. President Donald Trump.
The lawsuits challenge the winner-take-all system used in those states to select electors who cast votes for president and vice president in the Electoral College after a presidential election. Forty-four other states and the District of Columbia also use that system.

You cannot sue to overturn a clause in the Constitution. Any decision by any court would have no validity.
That doesn’t bother leftists, who have already thrown out the supreme law, the law of human nature written in our being, and authored by the Creator.
The once great America is becoming more like the old, failed Soviet Union with each passing day.
They knew that Washington would be the first president (if he wanted to be), but didn't really consider what would become of the system once there wasn't any obviously superior candidate available.
Only a crooked judge would take this since courts have no legal jurisdiction in this matter at all. If these people want to change things then they need to take it up with their legislators. These are lowlife people who want to find a Lawless liberal judge to overthrow the legislator’s. They are bad for America.
Yup, the left NEVER EVER stops.
Kalifornia challenging winner take all? If their electoral votes were proportional they would lose a large chunk of their blue bloc.
Scotus just needs to smack this down hard.
No we would find the “man of Soros.”
I don’t know. The pornographer (a Reagan appointee) finally left, and the court has gotten a bit more conservative.
Tough crowd.
The communists are vigilant.
Idiots.
As far as it goes it is in the Constitution, including that the Constitution does not say states cannot use the winner take all method. If the Constitution has no mandate against it, then what is the “Constitutional” argument against it? Zip, zilch, nada. (unless that is you’re a judge that thinks you can write your own “living Constitution” by judicial fiat from the bench)
Probably so. But then the youth probably thinks the Hunger Games is so cool.
Agreed.
Heck, I’m not just worried about the Left. I don’t trust the Republicans any farther than I can drop kick them.
Yeah good point.
“:^)
I’d like to think they see it as a problem. Today, I not real sure.
I think it'll eventually happen. But maybe not for another hundred years. America is a young nation and we really do not have that much history or culture compared to other countries. Right now, Democrats are destroying few ideals that unite us as Americans.
The convention held more votes on electing a president than on any other subject.
They were very concerned about the men who were to follow George Washington.
I wrote two squibs on the matter:
