The point is, that when any judge, or county sheriff may determine that you will be disarmed, without a finding at trial (where you are involved in the process of defending your rights); you are in fact ALREADY under a oppressive and totalitarian regime, you’re just too deluded to see it.
Your frequent mention of “the laws that we live under” seems to carve out a vast and expansive exception for those who rule over you when in fact their authority is limited by law as well... As is so often repeated, Justice Scalia opined that the 2nd amendment is not absolute, and I somewhat agree with that, but only within the framework of the other constitutional restrictions: Particularly those of the 4th amendment against unreasonable seizures.
We the people limit the actions of the government within the framework of the Constitution, from which the government’s only lawful powers emanate. Any government actions outside that framework and the specific powers delegated to it by the people are inherently illegal, because they are taken without authority.

A little harder to make a fake ID (which would never hold up under scrutiny anyway) than to 3D print a piece of plastic that by it self is nothing.
I don’t see how any piece of plastic can be made illegal, no matter how it’s shaped. I see the court cases overturning bans on sex toys as having relevance (I’m no law talking guy so maybe that’s a kooky argument, “drug paraphernalia” are often illegal despite being nothing but plastic and glass and whatnot ).

On the face of it, it's not a big deal. "Bump stocks" are silly toys for foolish people. IMO. It's a matter of principle. "Bump stocks" didn't cause that filth in Las Vegas to murder people. Banning them at any time (particularly "in the wake of" some gruesome crime) just establishes the principle that scary gun things are bad. The 'rats don't want to ban "bump stocks" or "handguns" or "assault weapons" or "sniper rifles" or whatever. They want to ban ALL guns. I say don't give them an inch. Ever. We've been trying 'gun control' for decades (see NYC's Sullivan Act") and they do nothing to prevent or reduce crime.
I'm tired of it, and I have no patience for politicians who run on a Pro Second Amendment platform and then propose gun bans when some filth commits a spectacular crime. I'm thinking of my own misbegotten turd of a senator Joe Manchin, for example. So if Donald Trump starts to go wobbly, he'll hear about it. Doesn't mean he's in the same league as the execrable Joe Manchin. Not even close.
