I think many things fall under the “mental illness” umbrella. There’s much more mental illness since families became so broken and dysfunctional. With so many kids living with multiple “parents”, never knowing their fathers, and the general frantic and material lives that parents chase, it’s little wonder the kids are being medicated.

Trump just asked parents what should be done to prevent school shootings.
The third parent to answer says: Schools are soft targets and need to be hardened. Mental health needs to be improved and federal background checks need to be improved.
I wanted these drugs mentioned also Judy, so many of these killers have been on these anti-depressant drugs.
Interesting how nobody is mentioning that the local police visited the house 39 times, but did nothing.

One comment got my attention, that we have to go beyond the imminent threat and consider prevention.
I don’t agree, the President should be looking at imminent threats, ways to protect the kids in our schools right now. And he should start by firing Wray and 3/4 of the FBI.
That’s what my mom made me bathe in when I caught my skunk.
It seems most of the shooters are on drugs. The drugs have been handed out like candy for years.
I don’t think they were there to point fingers specifically at the police or the FBI. But I do believe I heard it mentioned a couple of times that the ball was dropped. Meadow’s father was very powerful in his message to FIX this problem. He is the father that was made fun of on twitter because, as he was searching for his daughter and pleading for help in finding her, he was shown in a Trump Tee.
In my opinion, some kids are not taught respect and manners at home before they start school, they think they can just do what they want. Schools can’t do much in the form of discipline and the parents usually take the kid’s side.
So it just became easier to drug them.
That is how it would go in my state.
