I created this. It illustrates the dozens of systemic failures around the Florida school shooting.
But the conclusion for liberals?
"LET'S BLAME GUNS!"
(This will serve as the basis for a long editorial. Keep your eyes peeled.)

I heard the Russian orphan story from Brian Suits on KFI here in LA.
But when I tried to find his source I came up empty, other than a long Daily Mail article that suggested that this was the case but provided no evidence.
So all we know at this point is that he was adopted.

I anticipate we will see ANOTHER mass shooting such as the one in Florida in the very near future. “Strike while the iron is hot”! Pressure is being directed at President Trump and Congress to tighten existing gun laws. Having another large scale shooting will be intended to see more support for greater restrictions when attempting to purchase a gun and eventually complete removal of guns. The movement is well underway, I pray for its total failure.

Laz, you need to make a graphic with these statistics:

List of killings
There are 24 incidents listed, in the number of dead found at an incident (4), for an incident of killing to be defined as mass-murder, according to pre-January 14, 2013 amended law, the amendment does not include perpetrator either suicide or killing by police services, [8] and has the number as 3, sufficient for a definition of mass killings, [9] this gives 36 listed.

Interesting Headline from USA today - they call 134 deaths a year rare:
Total for all those years (254 years): 222 plus part of (can't find exact number) the 1864 Sand Creek Massacre.
Fatal school bus accidents rare
Greg Toppo, USATODAY Published 3:53 p.m. ET Sept. 15, 2015 | Updated 2:19 p.m. ET Sept. 17, 2015
Fatal school bus accidents like the one in Houston Tuesday that killed two children are rare, federal safety figures suggest and they rarely kill children, who log thousands of hours riding each year.
From 2004 to 2013 (only a 8 year period), U.S. drivers were involved in 340,039 fatal motor vehicle traffic crashes, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Of those, 1,214, or just .4%, were classified as "school-transportation-related," involving a school bus or other vehicle functioning as a school bus that was transporting children to or from school or related activities, such as sports or field trips.
