Here’s Why Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Never Reported Nikolas Cruz to the Police
The Truth About Guns ^ | Feb 16 2018 | Luis Valdes

Nikolas Cruz was a known threat. Known by the administrators of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. It’s a clear case where a known dangerous student was not reported to the police. Why?

Because back in 2013, the Broward County School Board adopted a program where they don’t relay information to police about troubled students.

NPR reported in Fla. School District Trying To Curb School-To-Prison Pipeline;

It’s a move away from so-called “zero tolerance” policies that require schools to refer even minor misdemeanors to the police. Critics call it a “school to prison pipeline.”

Under a new program adopted by the Broward County School District, non-violent misdemeanors — even those that involve alcohol, marijuana or drug paraphernalia — will now be handled by the schools instead of the police.

Cruz was banned from carrying a backpack at school after bullets were found in his backpack. Cruz was expelled from MSD last year after a fight with his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend.

Non-violent misdemeanors? Even so, red flags were flying.

Again, the Broward County School Board has an official policy requiring that they don’t tell the police about non-violent incidents with troubled youth.

“bullets were found in his backpack.”

RED FLAGS and yet police kept in dark. This county got what they asked for. The innocent died at the behest of the school board and politicians.

Why would any parent have children in the public school system?

Sounds to me like the parents of the murdered children are going to own the school district soon.

Oh, this is massive.

So now the Broward County School Board may become civilly liable for the deaths of these students.

Oh, I have to say this made my day a little.

It is ridiculous that it comes to this to point out obvious things.

These rat bastard liberals in the school administration have blood on their hands, did the parents vote on this program to protect or more like avoid these troubled students? I would guess not they probably took it upon the selves to implement a program that puts the student body and its teachers in grave danger. This is the result of their tree hugging progressive liberal PC insanity.

One more thing: It means the local LEOs, the FBI, the School, and the Broward County School District all knew this guy was a threat, up to and including the bullets at school in the backpack.

In other words, they were begging for this Cruz kid to come on campus and kill all of these people. Begging for it.

No law could have stopped this. Only a guy with a gun giving young Cruz a moment of pause.

#FriendsDontLetFriends send their children to public schools.

Friends help homeschool the precious children of their friends.

This is the county that allows ballot box stuffing in order to turn a presidential election. Corrupt to the core.

Can the district be sued, by these poor parents, who’ve suffered the unthinkable over this absurd policy??

I wonder if the surviving families of these killed children could get together and bring multi-million $ wrongful death or liability suits? Then maybe the school districts would act like responsible businesses instead of babysitters?

If a child is abused the law says you must report it. There should be a law that if a kid us breaking a law at school it must be reported to the police.
