I just watched “The Dark Knight” again for the first time since I saw it about ten years ago, and...I must admit I thoroughly enjoyed the Heath Ledger Joker. That was impressive.

And I have enjoyed Michael Caine in nearly everything.

The love interest woman was an odd choice for me, I found her unappealing to my eye.

But fun movie to watch, IMO. I have seen a couple, though not all of the Batman movies. And I do like Tim Burton’s stuff...I loved “Nightmare Before Christmas” with the two headed mayor...”)

I think it is a very strange dichotomy in the attitude of a portion of black America to whom MLK's call (to a nation where color doesn't matter) of:

"...I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character..."

has been given lip service by a portion of black America, but has openly been repudiated by those same people who are making color of skin the sole determinant of meaning and worth. I agree that he would be appalled by the race hucksters, and would view this film as their work.

I might not have been clear, my post at #59 would have been directed towards Winnie Mandela, who was well known for her creative work with automobile tires in her efforts to promote “equality”. And he, for all his hot air, was right on board with it.

Just from hearing stories about the general premise of the storyline, it's sounds like a big imaginary fantasy of there being an all black society totaly absent of white people haha. Yeah, that movie ain't about black racist fantasies.

Black racism is heavily encouraged these days. Maybe all those who don't like whitey can reclaim some territory in Africa and make an all black society and see if that finally makes them happy.

I saw Stanley Leiber (Stan Lee) speak a few years ago and about all he had to say was that “Marvel has a new superhero (or heroine) coming out who’s Indian, or Latino, or Asian, or muslim, or...” And each demographic in the audience cheered.

From what I gather, that's been the publishing strategy for the past decade. Pander to special interests, get accolades in the media, quietly cancel the low-selling result.

Dr. Ben Carson is now bad. He came out as a republican, so America's enemies figuratively crucified him. He's even in President Trump's administration, so he is persona non grata in leftist conversation, which includes all discussion of race.

I'm going to predict incidents of black outrage and outright violence.

Some militant blacks won't like white people going to "their" movie or discussing "their" super hero and on and on.

I can see naive white parents of young kids buying black panther products and their young children being attacked and beaten for 'appropriating black culture'

Likewise white teens will go to school with black panther Tees and get their @sses kicked.

I can imagine there are going to be some very disturbing violent incidents.
