On Wednesday, Feb.14, 2018, it took less than 15 minutes for a jury to convict Donald Smith (right) of abducting, raping and murdering 8-year-old Cherish Perrywinkle in Jacksonville, Fla.
A Florida jury Wednesday convicted a 61-year-old man of abducting, raping and murdering an 8-year-old girl in less than 15 minutes, delivering unanimous guilty verdicts.
The Jacksonville courtroom had just gone into recess after the judge read instructions to the jurors when everyone quickly returned with a decision.
Donald Smith, wearing a shirt and plaid tie, watched without expression as the jury foreman quickly read through the verdicts.
The white-haired Smith was convicted of first-degree murder, kidnapping and sexual battery on a child less than 12 years of age in the crimes against Cherish Perrywinkle. The jury was ordered to return to court Tuesday to begin the penalty phase of the trial. Smith faces a possible death sentence.

No thanks to Q and likes of people like Jeffrey Epstein, the Clintons and the Posestas, pedophiles have become big networks thru websites, secret groups and of course Satan. Pray for the continued success of the arrests going on since the election.
So, what took them so long?
There are times when I wish the Constitution made specific exceptions for cruel and unusual punishment. This is one of them.
You are correct. The human heart is desperately wicked and has been for all time.
Trying to make sense of your tagline though. Maybe it needs a proofread/edit?
2 minutes - Go to jury room, get settled sit down.
5 minutes - Introductions and pick a foreman.
5 minutes - Ask if anyone on the jury wants to discuss any of the facts in the case or is everyone ready to take an initial vote. Brief discussion with everyone saying they are ready for a vote.
3 minutes - Take a vote. Maybe raise of hands maybe slips of paper. Guilty on all counts!!!!!!
2 minutes - Summon bailiff.
2 minutes - Get settled in courtroom.
1 minute - Read the verdict.
Good he deserved it, just question what the delay was. It should have only taken seconds.
This guy has been known for quite some time.
Saw this on a thread yesterday, hat tip to MD Expat.

Pertinent part: ***Before his arrest for Cherishs death, Smith had a long criminal history dating back to the 1970s related to lewd and lascivious conduct. Doctors determined that he met the criteria of a violent sexual predator after arrests in 1999, and he had served prison time and been ordered to get treatment, according to the Florida Times-Union newspaper.
In 2009 he posed as a child welfare worker and asked a child sexually explicit questions on the telephone and was arrested on felony charges, which were later reduced to misdemeanors, the newspaper reported.***

I hope the stories of how pedophiles are treated in prison are true.
This guy needs to be tortured then murdered cartel style.
Thanks for the hat tip. This guy should have been locked away and kept there until he assumed room temperature and if so, he would have never had the opportunity to murder this poor innocent little girl.
I hope cops and judges are paying attention to this case. I never understand why we let so many creeps out, to reoffend. Especially dangerous ones. When will they learn? What will it take?
“And ask for all the tough guy talk about how they would kill this guy or hes going to burn in hell, nice start to lent”
I went to the casino yesterday. There were many people there with ashes on their foreheads, gorging on the all you can eat buffet in between their gambling.
I guess they gave up something else.
FrogDad has a tshirt that says, “I have a beautiful granddaughter. I also have a gun and an alibi.”
He means it.
It is not pleasant.
Sin angers Him on general principle, but this is expressly singled out for an exceptionally severe judgment.
Read Matt. 18:6 and Luke 17:2.
He should have been locked up permanently long ago.
