President Donald Trump acknowledged a report Thursday that shows how Democratic Sen. Mark Warner was in contact with a lobbyist for Russian oligarch Oleg V. Deripaska.
A report from Fox News Thursday reveals text messages between Adam Waldman, a lobbyist for Deripaska, and Warner. In the messages Sen. Warner expressed interest in meeting with Christopher Steele, the author of the unverified dossier used to get a warrant to surveil former Trump campaign associate Carter Page.
In the messages, Warner said that he didnt want to leave a paper trail of meetings with Steele.

Wow! -Senator Mark Warner got caught having extensive contact with a lobbyist for a Russian oligarch. Warner did not want a paper trail on a private meeting (in London) he requested with Steele of fraudulent Dossier fame. All tied into Crooked Hillary.

Just a typo. He meant to say "warmer."
Haha. Go Julian!!!
Wow, another dirty democrat caught in the net!
I hope he gets indicted.
And Fox News is highlighting that Little Rubio is out actively defending Warner.
Rubio needs to be off the committee. Along with scumbag Burr. Senate is corrupt. Sessions came from this corrupt branch of the banana republic.
___________
What did Sessions know, and when did he know it ?
He needs to keep his mouth shut and start the indictments!
I’m listing to news discussion. So, U.S. Senator “No Paper Trail” Warner is a spy, a foreign agent, seeing foreign “aid”, or what? Hopefully by end of week, is EX-SENATOR WARNER.
Unusual ability to make a pun for someone who’s not a native speaker. Seems easy to us but the word “gets” changing meaning from “becomes” to “captures” would make it an unlikely thing for a foreigner to say or write. A native English speaker provided it to him, imho.
No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.
Neither Jeff Sessions as AG, nor the president, can indict anyone. Only a grand jury can indict someone at the federal level, unless that individual waives their fifth amendment right to an indictment (ex. Gen. Flynn for lying to Mulehead's crony, Strzok).
I think too many people on this forum overlook this fact.
That's why it's easy to pound on the table and demand that Sessions indict someone.
Sure, you can get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich, but can you get a grand jury to indict a congressman, a senator, a career FBI director, or even the Hilldebeast herself?
Not without one hell of a bulletproof case. And if they are building a bulletproof case to indict, how would you or I know about it?
That's the crux of the matter. We don't know. They don't know, either. And they're freaking out because they want to believe, just as many here do, that Jeff Sessions is sitting on the sidelines napping. Maybe he is. Maybe he isn't. Either way, there's no way for us to know unless the hammer drops on them.
I would just like to see some serious *talk* of what indictments might be possible. I think some talk about who might have broken the law and what consequences they might face would help sober up the whole conversation. So far I haven’t seen the legal consequences even talked about.
I think part of the problem is that there's SO MUCH juicy evidence.
Hillary was not supposed to lose, so lots of really good evidence was left lying around, haphazardly, by her and her people.
They were careless b/c Hillary was supposed to sweep it all under the Oval Office rug.....never to be heard from again.
It's nice we have all this evidence....but we have to be very hard-nosed about it.
Let's pick and choose and decide what will best put these people in jail.
