So, will they be seeking compensation for lost earnings? When do the riots commence? Is 'al not so sharpton' on scene yet? Mid terms are coming up so let's get some political mileage out of it. NC? Probably the shooter has a rebel flag on his kkk sponsered pick up truck. No? Maybe not. No description of the shooter. Guess we'll learn more as the story unfolds

dozens of questions about the situation that have thus far gone unanswered.

Oh, please. Your son held up the restaurant and was shot and killed during the crime. Asked and answered. No further questions.

Another dead criminal thug for #BLM to rally around.

Too bad his accomplices weren’t taken care of in the same manner.

Remembering that robbery and execution of store employees in Denver(?) who were shot execution style after giving up the money. The killer is on death row and the governor (D) keeps delaying his execution - been there a long time.

“It’s been a difficult week for parents Temia Hairston and Michael Grace Sr. “

Is it just me, or do most of the “parents” in these situations all have different last names? Even the two Black couples at the SOTU speech who lost their daughters to MS13 gang members, didn’t have the same last name.

In California, for instance, a home can be invaded by thieves, and the residents cannot use a firearm unless they can prove that they legitimately feared for their lives and there was no escape avenue available.

This writer is uninformed and lazy. California residents do not have any duty to retreat. This author could have easily confirmed the law, but then that would have conflicted with their pre-conceived conclusion.

To wit:

California Penal Code 198.5.

Any person using force intended or likely to cause death or great bodily injury within his or her residence shall be presumed to have held a reasonable fear of imminent peril of death or great bodily injury to self, family, or a member of the household when that force is used against another person, not a member of the family or household, who unlawfully and forcibly enters or has unlawfully and forcibly entered the residence and the person using the force knew or had reason to believe that an unlawful and forcible entry occurred.

As used in this section, great bodily injury means a significant or substantial physical injury.

After reading the comments of the Baby-Mama of Michael Grace, Jr, I completely understand while Michael thought it was okay to try to rob a pizza shop while brandishing a firearm.

Perhaps if mamma had spent more time instilling some respect for others and the Law, Jr. would have been working at the Pizza joint instead of expiring at one.

They are suing under the right to work laws.

He was deprived of earning a living as he saw fit.

The ‘training (or lack of)’ for everyday situations.

Judge Judy gets them all the time, people screwing the insurance companies, admitting they stole something but ‘didn’t mean it’,

Actually stand up in public and tell the world they are restricted from making ‘x’ dollars.
When further questioned, inevitably drawing some kind of welfare or unemployment or disability and they have been told they can make X dollars and not lose their benefits.

Fine incentive plan you got there...
