Self-defense is regarded as a right deriving from natural law. But that offers no justification to the parents of Michael Grace, Jr. of Charlotte, NC, who was shot to death while attempting to rob a Pizza Hut. CBS North Carolina reports:
Its been a difficult week for parents Temia Hairston and Michael Grace Sr. Their son, Michael Grace Jr., was shot and killed during an attempted robbery early Sunday morning.
I sympathize. It is a terrible thing to lose a child. That is a wound that will not heal.
Police said Grace Jr. and two other people tried to rob a Pizza Hut in the 3200 block of Freedom Drive. During the incident, an employee fired his own handgun and killed Grace Jr.
Hairston said she learned of her sons death on social media, and only got confirmation from police after contacting them first. The grieving mother said she has been left with dozens of questions about the situation that have thus far gone unanswered.

But didn’t taste good............
Sounds like the Bartlesville, OK perp....that wailed, and threw a fit....cuz his Mom was killed by the BPD..because she shot two of the BPD officers..with a BB gun. And they killed her dead.
similar incident in the Subway near me in Jeffco. they never found the killers.
That’s Nathan Dunlap, and it was a Chuck E. Cheese, where he actually worked, which is why he killed three people.
This writer is uninformed and lazy. California residents do not have any duty to retreat. This author could have easily confirmed the law, but then that would have conflicted with their pre-conceived conclusion.
To wit:
Any person using force intended or likely to cause death or great bodily injury within his or her residence shall be presumed to have held a reasonable fear of imminent peril of death or great bodily injury to self, family, or a member of the household when that force is used against another person, not a member of the family or household, who unlawfully and forcibly enters or has unlawfully and forcibly entered the residence and the person using the force knew or had reason to believe that an unlawful and forcible entry occurred.
As used in this section, great bodily injury means a significant or substantial physical injury.
Hmmm... are we still sure that a J-Frame is sufficient as an "always" carry piece...?"
That's a question...
This will happen more and more often as White people get fed up with Negro Fatigue and decide they just won’t take it anymore.
After reading the comments of the Baby-Mama of Michael Grace, Jr, I completely understand while Michael thought it was okay to try to rob a pizza shop while brandishing a firearm.
Perhaps if mamma had spent more time instilling some respect for others and the Law, Jr. would have been working at the Pizza joint instead of expiring at one.
LOL
I agree and just how bad do you have to be to get fired from a Pizza Hut?
They are suing under the right to work laws.
He was deprived of earning a living as he saw fit.
The ‘training (or lack of)’ for everyday situations.
Judge Judy gets them all the time, people screwing the insurance companies, admitting they stole something but ‘didn’t mean it’,
Actually stand up in public and tell the world they are restricted from making ‘x’ dollars.
When further questioned, inevitably drawing some kind of welfare or unemployment or disability and they have been told they can make X dollars and not lose their benefits.
Fine incentive plan you got there...
When one elects to participate in a gun fight, you might die that day.
Guess he had been earning a living selling drugs and under-age prostitutes BUT decided that he would have a better long-range future robbing pizza joints...Definitely turning his life around...

White people always fall for that fake picture.
My guess is that he couldn’t keep a job because he wouldn’t show up for that job. I know several people like that.
We hired a person and we had to tell her to a) show up and leave on time and b) let us know if she wasn’t going to be there. She had no idea that’s how it worked.
Robbery is a hazardous profession, as well it should be!
The picture is Photoshopped. By me.
Two thumbs up and Post of the Day honors there buddy!
