New York State Assemblyman Dov Hikind (D-Brooklyn) is calling on Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg to take immediate action on Facebooks shameful exclusion of Israel. When creating a background profile on Facebook, users are given 50 nationality options. These options include Palestine, while Israel is conspicuously absent.
Palestine is not even a country, said Hikind. How did it end up as an option? Well, we all know the answer to that. I suspect some racist programmer was able to slip that by while purposefully excluding Israel as an option. Thats insulting and Facebook should be held accountable."

I’d never realized how relentless their data mining was until a few days ago. I received a call from my mother in laws retirement home because they could not reach my wife. The only recorded instance of me having contact with the establishment. Two days later I get a “friend suggestion” for one of their employees. Creepy.
He was. It’s why “Alexander” is a common Jewish given name.
If this is true I want to get off that place. I hate that I am forced to use it for neighborhood watch or other groups.

Where exactly on FB is this, please? I just tried changing my location to Jerusalem and Haifa, and both times it showed the city as being in Israel.
