CNN’s Phil Mudd: FBI’s ‘Ticked’ at Trump Over Memo and They’re ‘Going to Win’ in End

CNN counterterrorism analyst Phil Mudd is known for making provocative on-air remarks and generally being fired up during segments. A CNN appearance on Friday, however, may end up being his most notorious yet.

Hours after the controversial Nunes memo dropped, Mudd indicated that the FBI was going to take matters into its own hands and make sure they eventually come out on top in a head-to-head battle with the president. With the FBI and its director already making their objections to the memo — which purports to show FISA abuses within the Russia probe — crystal clear before its release, Mudd said that agents at the bureau are angry and will stop President Donald Trump from dismantling the Russia investigation.

“The workforce will look at this and say this is an attack on our ability to conduct an investigation with integrity,” he exclaimed during a CNN panel discussion. “There are hundreds of agents and analysts working. This not just Christopher Wray, the FBI director.”

He continued, “So I’m going to tell you the FBI people are ticked. If you think you can push us off this because you can intimidate the director, you’d better think again. You’ve been around for 13 months. We’ve been around since 1908. I know how this game is going to be played. We’re going to win.”

Mr. Mudd began a policy assignment at the White House in early 2001, detailed from CIA to serve as the Director for Gulf Affairs on the White House National Security Council. He left after the September 11 attacks for a short assignment as the CIA member of the small diplomatic team that helped piece together a new government for Afghanistan, and he returned to CIA in early 2002 to become second-in-charge of counterterrorism analysis in the Counterterrorist Center. He was promoted to the position of Deputy Director of the Center in 2003 and served there until 2005. At the establishment of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s National Security Branch in 2005, FBI Director Mueller appointed Mr. Mudd to serve as the Branch’s first-ever deputy director.

We understand very little about the power of prayer, even though Jesus tried to teach it to the disciples, when he was on earth. Mathew 18:18 is powerful, it is about binding and loosing. All the tools are written in scriptures, yet few ever understand. Jesus said ‘GREATER works than I do will they do in my name.” Pray, fast, and learn the scriptures that work every day in our lives, for peace, harmony, and happiness. Some things are more difficult to fix than others, but with the help of quoting relevant scripture and challenging the negatives, things happen eventually. I have a retired FBI agent as a friend and see another once in a while. They are both conservative and if you ask them who the FBI blames for the sad state of affairs at FBI Headquarters (as I did) he says Comey, McCabe and the other rogue ones.
