The select committee may disclose publicly such information after the expiration of a five-day period following the day on which notice of the vote to disclose is transmitted to the President unless, before the expiration of the five-day period, the President, personally in writing, notifies the select committee that the President objects to the disclosure of such information, provides reasons therefor, and certifies that the threat to the national interest of the United States posed by the disclosure is of such gravity that it outweighs any public interest in the disclosure.Or was it returned without a reasoned objection and accompanying certification.
If it is disclosed to the public with names redacted, it is because Trump personally ordered it so.

I doubt Trump would redact, edit or change information and names to a memo that actually vindicates him from a false narrative that the hated media still to this day pushing it

When the memo is released it would be great if it was also announced that a Grand Jury has been seated leading to indictments. A released memo with no action means more of the same status quo.
Lets make a Deal. Trump gets to fire every damned Deep State cretin in the FBI and DOJ and the memo can be released with names redacted. Otherwise no deal.

Perhaps they can redact the names of private citizens who were targeted by the abuse of power. But any government employee, acting with authority given them by the people have no right to have their identity shielded.
Who exactly is representing ‘DOJ’ in Dir. Wrays foot stomping?
The committee can just reject the White House edits, and have the full House vote on releasing the original memo.
FBI can dish it but they cant take it. Just the facts man.

The sources and methods argument is pure, unadulterated horseshit and I’m getting real tired of seeing/hearing it. I’ve been involved in the intelligence arena for over 40 years now and it’s well-known among those who pay attention to such things that classification of information to protect wrongdoing and criminal acts is strictly prohibited and, in itself, a violation of law. Furthermore, the content of this memo addresses issues and actions that are almost entirely domestic. The only possible (and that’s a big stretch) element of the memo that might touch on sources and methods would regard information on Russian actors and how it was obtained. But then, I don’t think the HPSCI or Judiciary Committees have gotten to the involvement of the Intelligence Community (ODNI and CIA) quite yet.
