Two sisters in Atlanta, Georgia, are accused of beating a 3-year-old to death after he snuck a cupcake from the kitchen.
Lashirley and Glenndria Morris were both indicted on felony murder charges over the death of Kejuan Mason, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
On Oct. 21, 2017, police got a call from a home on Cleveland Avenue in Southwest Atlanta, according to WCNC. When they got there they found medical personnel already performing CPR on Kejuan.
A police report stated that “From what I observed the house was infested with roaches.”
The pair currently remain in Fulton County jail.
During the incident, Lashirley used a baseball bat to beat Kejuan repeatedly on different parts of his body, according to a statement issued by the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office on Tuesday, Jan. 30.

At the same time, Glenndria, the child’s legal guardian, spanked the boy for eating the cupcake.
The 3-year-old was transported to Atlanta Medical center where he was pronounced dead. Paramedics at the scene said the child appeared not to be breathing for a while already, WCNC reported.
A report from the medical examiner’s office stated that the boy died from blunt force trauma.
If convicted, the sisters face life in prison, without the possibility of parole.
Glenndria told police initially that the boy had choked on a cupcake. She said another man had tried to do CPR and said that the emergency response took too much time. But she then changed her story, telling police the cupcake was removed and that the boy seemed to be fine.

If convicted???? life in prison...give them the death sentence regardless of state law, keeping these beasts in prison at tax payer expense is no sentence at all.
Animals like them deserve to be put down much more than some poor ignorant Pit Bull. Just as an animal that takes a life, not in defense of another Human, should be put down and rightfully so, Human animals like these two sisters should also be put down. They will never be safe in open society and forcing the public to pay for their room and board and no doubt very expensive mental health care to rehabilitate them is criminal.
I would rather trust a rehabilitated animal around children than these two so called Human beings.

I've come to the sad conclusion that it's nearly impossible for courts/government to protect children in these situations. In this culture, girls will get pregnant by age 15. They neither prevent pregnancy nor intend to get pregnant; they simply get pregnant they way other people catch colds. However, once they get pregnant, the state gives them free medical care (for them and the pregnancy/baby), free food, a place to live, and some cash. She keeps all of that as long as she has a child under age five or is pregnant. So...once she gets pregnant the first time, she will spend the rest of her life until her late forties) making sure she is either pregnant or has a child under age five. If she gets pregnant and doesn't “need” that child because the child she has will still be young enough by the time she has this one, and she doesn't care whether THIS baby's daddy will come around, she will have an abortion. (Blacks may disapprove strongly of abortion when they are polled, but black women have a very high abortion rate.) So...you have a population that has baby after baby that is subsidized by the state. Many of these girls/women do not take good care of their children, but the pool of decent foster parents is very small. Someone I know who is deeply involved in foster care put it this way about foster parents: “10% are saints and 90% are in it for the money.” So, social workers and judges are faced with the dilemma of removing children from bad mothers and putting them into homes with foster mothers who aren't much better — if they are at all better — than the mothers they removed them from.
All in all, I'm inclined to agree with the freeper who posted: “Thanks, LBJ!”

Prayers that all people turn away from evil and return to God - that their hearts of stone be softened and turned to flesh, so all children will be treated with kindness and gentleness. Lord hear my prayer. Amen
