I have three theories about what precipitated this. It could be a combination of these:

1. The questions swirling around about whether or not President Trump will answer any questions from Mueller bring a high level of uncertainty to the whole investigation.

2. If the Nunes memo is as damaging to the DOJ/FBI as I suspect, then Mueller may end up withdrawing the charges in this case.

3. Everyone knows President Trump is going to pardon Flynn anyway, so the delay may have been requested until the release of the Nunes memo and other falling dominoes in Washington put Trump in a much stronger position (politically) to do it.

#40 What everyone seems to be missing is the Order the Court gave Mullett face for the sentencing. I thought when I read it, the Court boxed Mullett Face in a corner.

I’d say he is stalling...Cause he knows he’s screwed pooch.
