President Trump’s State of the Union was a “home run” speech in many ways, but contrasted with the expectations of many, especially Democrat Representative John Clyburn of South Carolina who compared Trump’s America to Germany in 1934 under Adolf Hitler, Monday night on CNN.
Well, film clips of Hitler speeches at rallies from that era simply do not resemble Trump rallies. The congressman is an especially silly man, for the history teacher he purports to have been. Clyburn notes that all the churches in Germany had swastika banners in 1934, but none have yet appeared in the church I attend in northern Virginia or the Hill country of Texas.

Germany in 34 had experienced hyperinlation that wiped out the wealth of any of many of its citizens. It also had massive unemployment relieved somewhat by Nazi recruitment into the SA, open warfare in the streets between the two sides of the socialist coin (the Nazis and the Bolsheviks) precipitated in part by the false flag Reichstag fire, and a sense of vulnerability and injustice arising from the Versailles Treaty. It was also suffering from what John Maynard Keynes referred to as the economic Consequences of the Peace. Its military had been stripped of most of its heavy weaponry. Finally, it had virtually no experience with democratic government. How does this even remotely resemble the United States of 2018?
Clyburn is the perfect number 3 man in the democRAT house hierarchy. Since there are many more talented people, he holds his position because he is black and adds that imagery to press photos. He never speaks, at least intelligibly, and only mimics what Nancy and Denny say. His facial expressions are good at self righteousness and indignation. He would rather for people to suffer if that is what it takes to maintain his own phony status. By the way, democRAT leadership is sure long in the tooth. That will inspire a lot of milenials.
