Three in four Americans who tuned in to President Trump's State of the Union address tonight approved of the speech he gave. Just a quarter disapproved.

You’re right... my mistake...
:)
Man, do you have a treat in store. No spoilers, but when the crowd at a SOTU starts to shout "USA! USA!" you have something extraordinary going on.
The uniformed must be asking themselves: What exactly does the Democrat Thug Party stand for?
They didn't stand for much tonight -- not even for the historically low black and latino unemployment numbers.
CBS/YouGov poll figures that seem to have disappeared in later CBS reports:
30 Jan: Breitbart: Poll: 75% Approve of Trumps State of the Union Address
by Joel B. Pollak
CBS News Poll: Approve of speech (Among speech watchers)
Republicans 97%; Democrats 43%; Independents 72%

A lot of people failed to watch. Should have been required viewing.
I read there was slobbering and drooling. Inbetween I imagine there were words that blamed every failure of humankind on Donald J. Trump. Does that about cover it?
Well, I did read that Señor Guitierrez was ‘triggered’ and ran away! That right there would be worth admission.
Had to go change his depends
CNN says the approval rating was one of the lowest ever. Shut that media outlet down for lies and propaganda. Now.
I respectfully disagree completely. The format and I have been traditional but his words or anything back.
He talked at length about how they were there to represent the people. And they had to deserve that honor. I hadnt heard of president say that since Reagan.
And then the last part, when he talked about the founding fathers and the Capitol building. That was nothing like anything Ive ever heard, again, since Reagan.
It was as inspiring as what Reagan used to say, but still in a completely different way. Completely 100% Trump , and completely 100% making loving this country cool again.
Trump came off as he really is.....sincere.
He is not spewing rhetorical talking points like the fabulous orator Barack Obama always did.
The sincerity was felt by America as reflected by the 75% favorability CBS poll
It was amazing, wasnt it. In the end, just brought tears to my eyes. He brought up the founding fathers, the real role of government, the people, it was so incredibly inspiring. Im so glad I decided to DVR it at the last minute.
I dont know if it was actually better than Reagan, but it certainly was on par. And actually given todays current political climate, with Trump facing so much more opposition from within and without his own party, and the current moral laxness in society, yes I think youre right it does make it even more impressive than Reagan.
You are right. I felt that he meant every word he said. And had a hand in writing the speech. I imagine he outlined what he wanted to say and a speech writer just put it into words.
