Victor Davis Hanson: Hillary’s ‘Sure’ Victory Explains Most Everything
NRO ^ | Victor Davis Hanson

Hillary Clinton herself was not worried about even the appearance of scandal caused by transmitting classified documents over a private home-brewed server, or enabling her husband to shake down foreign donations to their shared foundation, or destroying some 30,000 emails. Evidently, she instead reasoned that she was within months of becoming President Hillary Clinton and therefore, in her Clintonesque view of the presidency, exempt from all further criminal exposure. Would a President Clinton have allowed the FBI to reopen their strangely aborted Uranium One investigation; would the FBI have asked her whether she communicated over an unsecure server with the former president of the United States?

Former attorney general Loretta Lynch, in unethical fashion, met on an out-of-the-way Phoenix tarmac with Bill Clinton, in a likely effort to find the most efficacious ways to communicate that the ongoing email scandal and investigation would not harm Hillary Clinton’s candidacy. When caught, thanks to local-news reporters who happened to be at the airport, Lynch sort of, kind of recused herself. But, in fact, at some point she had ordered James Comey not to use the word “investigation” in his periodic press announcements about the FBI investigation.

How could Lynch in the middle of an election have been so silly as to allow even the appearance of impropriety? Answer: There would have been no impropriety had Hillary won...

*skip*

How could former deputy director of the FBI Andrew McCabe assume an oversight role in the FBI probe of the Clinton email scandal when just months earlier his spouse had run for state office in Virginia and had received a huge $450,000 cash donation from Common Good VA, the political-action committee of long-time Clinton-intimate Terry McAuliffe?

Again, the answer was clear. McCabe assumed that Clinton would easily win the election.

To those outside Free Republic, Hannity, and the pages of National Review, there is still no scandal. No one knows about the memo or any other scandal. If the MSM does not carry it, all will be forgotten...

So then you would agree on the matter of scale being the only difference?

I just heard Trey Gowdy being interviewed on Fox and Friends. The man is hopeless. Had nothing but praise for McCabe. Said he did not know why he quit. Said he was a professional. Gowdy has read the memo. He has read the text. Again, Gowdy is hopeless.

Yup. I now rate Gowdy down there with Linda Graham.

Agree. The Fed government is too far gone to be “repaired” by ordinary means.

I can’t see this hurting McAuliffe because there is distance between him and Clinton. But it does show that the FBI guy should have waved the flag over the money.

“Personally I would file the necessary federal ocean environmental impact paperwork and wait for a permit.”

BRILLIANT!
Using their own love of government regulations and permits against them!

One of the reasons why Trump is hated so much by the media and by the Democrats is that Trump fights back... like a Democrat.

Post-Modernism is much larger than socialism.

From one angle, Post-Modernism assimilated socialism (like the Borg did to anyone non-Borg).

Another POV is that Post-Modernism is what socialism morphed into.

A third is that the shift to the concept of Post-Modernism by the Left is simply a way to change the name of socialism so as to be rid of its connection with historical failures (the USSR, for the most part).

Democrats embraced socialism, a failed ideology that is corrupt by its nature.

The core objectives of any ambitious psychopath are control, power & wealth. These satanic creatures simply shop around until they find a political system that promises to deliver goods to voters. If one proves to be attractive to a large portion of the public and is appearing to gain traction, then they inculcate themselves and become practiced liars.

Q: Is there any possible way either Clinton actually gives a smidgen of a chit about socialist policy? These two are demonic arch-criminals with zero beliefs about anything other than satisfying their insane quest for power. It's a real testament to how weak their followers are that so thoroughly believe their lies.

New York Post 9/15/99 Editorial “....Lost in all the furor over the First Couple’s new upscale home in the tony town of Chappaqua is the fact that the Clintons are stonewalling over precisely how the $1.7-million house is being paid for. All that’s known for certain is that the Clintons obtained a sweetheart deal on a mortgage - below market-rate - after their close friend and super-fund-raiser, Terry McAuliffe, agreed to cosign the loan. But what are the precise terms of this historically unprecedented deal?

Keep in mind that the Secret Service is being charge $10,000 a month rent for that house—while they “protect” the Clintons.

Gowdy Doody has always shown himself to be a cop wannabe, but took more pay instead.

Congresses very own Joe Dirt with an honorary G-Man badge.

Bakkers had maybe two scandals, i.e., his affair, and their money-grubbing PTL thing. No scandal involved murder.

Clintons have about 20 scandals, some of which most likely involve murders. Scandals are intertwined.
