Special counsel Robert Mueller has provided lawyers for President Donald Trump with a range of topics he wants to ask about as part of ongoing negotiations regarding an interview with the President, ....
Mueller's team has also made clear it is seeking a sit-down interview with Trump, according to these sources. The President said Wednesday he is "looking forward" to that interview, subject to the advice of his lawyers.
As the President's attorneys try to whittle down Mueller's areas of interest, a source familiar with the matter says the special counsel has obliged by offering a list of topics, including learning more about the President allegedly asking former FBI Director James Comey to drop the investigation into former national security adviser Michael Flynn.

If he does testify in any manner, he will be shortly (within a year - two at most) be out of office having been Impeached in the House and Removed by the Senate. Pence will follow soon after in the same trap. The Democrats will sweep the House and Speaker Pelosi will be elevated to President.
The fix is in and DJT is going full tilt into a no-win trap.
Can DJT somehow circumvent this scenario via some as yet unknown or unrevealed mechanism? Don’t know. No one does; we are entering uncharted Constitutional territory which - if the above scenario plays out - will end what’s left of the USA - a scenario begun in the 1970s (with the beginning of the War on Natural Resource Harvesters) will finally reach a conclusion.

I would highly AGREE with you.
An attorney friend of mine who resides in California said he thinks that if Trump were to actually meet with Mueller it would be because he had devised a way to literally take Mueller down and bury him permanently.
He did NOT give me details of how he might do that.
Yeah, you must be right. Any non-attorney can argue 12 cases before the United States Supreme Court, win 9 cases outright and receive partial wins in at least 2 others.
Why would anyone need to be a real attorney to do that?
I've heard Ed Rollins as well as a half dozen other very reliable and objective political observers continue to say that "Session is in over his head" and has "LOST control of the DOJ" and should permanently recuse himself as Attorney General and quietly go back to Alabama.
