The White House does not have to approve the release of a currently classified memo assembled within the House of representatives which purports to display extensive abuse of FISA authority within the FBI, deputy press secretary Hogan Gidley told WMAL Wednesday morning.
“We don’t have to approve it. They have the right to de-classify the document,” Gidley told Daily Caller editorial director Vince Coglianese and WMAL host, citing “legal minds” consulted by the executive branch.

Sessions is doing exactly what Trump wants him to do ......not what we on the outside think he should be doing. Thank God that’s the way it is.
The last thing anyone wants to do is half-assedly rush this out with a “See? Gotcha!” only to have many of the pages they didn’t read appear and the Ds say, “This completely contradicts that, hence the whole doc is unreliable.”

I think the rats are in the process of overplaying their hand. Once the memo is released Schiffty is going to release the rat response. In order to verify which is right the underlying documentation will likewise have to be released.
I think ... move up the timeline - memo early next week ... but it has been said that when Trump left the country, the sting would drop & storm would come onshore. Trump is now on his way to Davos ;)

On Lou’s show just now, it was said that the committee would convene on Monday and then they would schedule a vote. The guest from Judicial Watch said the memo should be read at the SOTU.
They say timing is everything, in this case its the only thing. Even the Dems know its just a question of when, not if. And even they aren’t so stupid as to try to say it shouldn’t be released, they just bad-mouth it and trot out some stupid memo of their own as a distraction.
State of the Union is six days away, could be a hell of a show...
