According to media reports, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) invited the 192 Democrat Members of the House of Representatives out to dinner at a fancy Italian restaurant in Washington, D.C. Saturday during the first day of the government shutdown.
Politico’s Jake Sherman was first to report on Pelosi’s dinner.

The Hill’s Scott Wong reported the menu, “On the menu at Pelosi’s dinner at Acqua al 2: cheeses and meats, pasta, lots of wine and for dessert … cheesecake with strawberry drizzle & tiramisu”

Acqua Al 2, located blocks from the Capitol, describes itself as “an authentic Italian restaurant located in the heart of the historic Eastern Market in Washington, DC.” The menu is not cheap and not the most expensive either for D.C., but dinner for two would put a hurt on a working couples’ budget with dinner entrees running from $18 to $39, not including drinks, appetizers and dessert.
Military families blasted Pelosi for living it up while soldiers are going without due to the shutdown.

President Trump should invite the entire senate and house of representatives to an exclusive restaurant for dinner.
Once everyone is seated he should have them served with out of date MRE's.
Then point out that they are lucky to have even an MRE because, thanks to them, the families of many service men and women
won't even be able to afford a $5 or $6 out of date MRE for dinner.
I pray that all these RATS end up on food stamps next November when they are kicked out on their a**e* as we celebrate a GOP Super Majority!!!

Who paid for it?
Did she pay for it out of her own pocket? Did she use a government credit card?
That is the question that needs to be answered. If she paid out of pocket, it’s disgusting but not surprising from people that are far, far removed from reality. But, if she used a government card, what a political ad that would make.
You should have seen the big bowl of what she called chocolate ice cream with a cherry on top. Eat it first to find out what’s really in it. Great optics for an expensive Italian restaurant for 192 people, but because of DACA, the dinner should have been at Taco Bell.

I was wondering also if maybe the Restaurant arranged a special, ‘two scoops of doggies doo, with a cherry on top’ as a special desert for them? that would be really special...
