Even though Right Wing News is an opinion site these days, I do still surf the web for news and to find material to write about. Some websites I read for columnists, others I peruse to see what particular bloggers have to say, but when Im looking for news, here are the websites I check out in order.
15) Twitchy: Michelle Malkins new Twitter based news site. 14) Doug Ross: Larwyns Linx is great. 13) Weasel Zippers: Not as much volume as other places, but quality work. 12) Free Republic: Better known for commenting than news, but still good. 11) Bad Blue: Outstanding Twitter based news 10) The Right Scoop: Videos, links, and heavily updated. 9) Daily Caller: The place to go for original conservative reporting. 8) Lucianne: Old reliable. When I have trouble finding something good, I go here. 7) Gateway Pundit: Its unbelievable to me that any one person can be this on top of things. 6) Breitbart: The combined Breitbart collective is AMAZING for links and journalism. 5) Instapundit: Glenn Reynolds has been the best known linker in the blogosphere for more than a decade. 4) The Blaze: Becks news machine is already a must read. 3) Memorandum: What people are talking about right now on both sides of the blogosphere. (Not conservative per se, but still good) 2) Hot Air: Frequently updated headlines, plus the latest news stories. 1) The Drudge Report: Whatever Drudge links becomes what everyone is talking about.
I only go to Free Republic and Lucianne.
Drudge is on my sh!t list.
If there is something interesting on Hot Air, Brietbart, etc it will be posted here
Psst..... the stupid ads on Lucianne drive me absolutely nuts.
I can’t believe The Conservative Treehouse isn’t on this list.
Drudge #1? Not so anymore.

For a long time now, Drudge has sucked. I rarely go there now and when I do I usually regret it. If he has a particularly enticing headline I will sometimes click the link and usually immediately be taken to the paywall of the New York Slimes, the Washington Post, the Los Angelos Times or the WSJ. I refuse to support them by paying them. So I can live without the Drudge frustration and his strange obsessions.
Here’s some history. A year prior (2010) to this article posted by the OP, Hawkins was a sponsor for a GoProud fundraiser in NYC.

Go away Hawkins, just go away.
Without fail.
April 2012...
Cheetos Boy Beck was just beginning
His Mental Breakdown.
...and speaking of Rathergate, they left Powerline off the list.
Based on hits above and beyond #1
Huh, almost nothing happens of import where I cannot find it quicker here than anywhere else, and I get frequent up to date commentary on the true story and the errors made by the idiot so-called journalist writing the story [sorry for the redundancy in this last bit], along with other confirmatory or contradictory indications.
careful now...;-)
Isn't it strange when the truth is even more bizarre than Alex Jones delusional sounding rantings?
I agree. Drudge should NOT #1 anymore, that he has gotten better in the last couple of weeks in showcasing President Trump’s phenomenal economy and record-breaking stock market.
Breitbart News is off my list, because of their continued bashing of Jared and Ivanka as though they were enemies of the Republic.
And their never-ending threats to President Trump over DACA as though they spoke for every conservative on the planet.
But mostly, I dropped their website, because they never condemned the things Steve Bannon said about the President and his son, Don Jr, or his blabbing to the media.
I go to some of these sites listed, but when I really want the skinny I go to FR. Hands down the best conservative - this despite the libertarians, which are not conservatives, who run roughshod on it - to be found anywhere.
Drudge? Whatever the site is, it ain’t conservative. He pushes his own agenda most of the time.
Exactly.
Infowars.com and newswars.com both contain a good compendium of breaking stories. They publish links to other sources, not just their own work.... but their own work in recent days has been stunning.

I think the “wacko” reputation Jones has been hung with is because Alex Jones actually has read to us over the years the information coming out in public papers written by the elite to other elite about their actual plans.
Jones is attacked and called wacko - not because HE’S wacko, but because the things the elite want to do are so wacko that just reporting on it makes him sound wacko. Things he told us 20 years ago are finally being rolled out and seen by many for the first time. But those who have listened to him have known.
He has been targeted because he is exposing the elite globalists. They can’t win if people KNOW what our enemy is up to. Jones HAS major sources in the White House and those who are patriots in the Deep State throughout government.
Jones is often criticized for his rants and effusive delivery. His voice is gravely. Many enjoy that delivery, but if a more measured delivery is to your taste, then try the David Knight program. Jerome Corsey is the head of the Infowars Washington Bureau, and while he does not have a regular program, he gives commentary frequently. Roger Stone appears regularly as well.
Jones deserves a fair and second look. He has earned his credibility.
“I can’t believe The Conservative Treehouse isn’t on this list.”
Incidentally, the guy who runs The Right Scoop was very anti-Trump during the campaign.
I don’t think CTH was operating in 2012 when this list was made.
Can anyone recommend a reliably conservative and useful business website. Marketwatch and CNBC present plentiful information and data but their spin is liberal to the point of offensiveness. Help.
