I think what gives Free Republic it's edge is that ability of its posters to bounce informed opinions off of one another. We have a lot of talent, experience, and intelligence right here, with unique perspectives and interpretations of what is really going on in the Nation and the world.

Very true; were a pretty diverse group, and in this particular case, that diversity does make us better informed and stronger.
Normally diversity is nothing more than a balkanization of opinion and belief systems.
The one great thing uniting people here is pretty much our universal belief in the Constitution of the United States.
