THIS MEMO MAY EXPOSE OBAMA'S WATERGATE
Front Page Magazine ^ | January 19, 2018 | Daniel Greenfield

The big explosive scandal is the one that hardly anyone talks about.

It's not Russia collusion. It's not even Uranium One. It's the eavesdropping on Trump staffers by Obama staffers. This eavesdropping was partially legitimized by the Steele dossier. It was accidentally uncovered and since then it's cost multiple people their jobs, not the people responsible, but those who learned about it.

Now the reckoning may finally be here. Sara Carter reports.

A review of a classified document outlining what is described as extensive Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act abuse was made available to all House members Thursday and the revelations could lead to the removal of senior officials in the FBI and Department of Justice, several sources with knowledge of the document stated. These sources say the report is “explosive,” stating they would not be surprised if it leads to the end of Robert Mueller’s Special Counsel investigation into President Trump and his associates.

The House Intelligence Committee passed the motion along party lines Thursday to make the classified report alleging extensive ‘FISA Abuse’ related to the controversial dossier available to all House members. The report contains information regarding the dossier that alleges President Trump and members of his team colluded with the Russians in the 2016 presidential election. Some members of the House viewed the document in a secure room Thursday.

That's why #ReleaseTheMemo has begun trending on Twitter.

Nothing will happen.....

Every time I hear about the latest breathless revelation I begin to feel the same way. Whatever happened to:

-The special prosecutors supposed illegal acquisition of the Trump transition team e-mails?

-The insider witness with all the goods on the Uranium One scandal?

-The IG Report, all 1.2 million pages released a week ago that is seemingly forgotten now?

-Will this four page report generated by the majority on the committee and revealed with such fanfare be met with the same fate?

I should create a separate thread for this but I just called my House Rep, Gus Bilirakis (R), FL West Coast. The staffer at his office was not even aware that the memo exists.

This is going nowhere.

The Debbie Downers emerge from their holes downplaying what is the most explosive political scandal in our history. No doubt nothing to see here will be the line of the Dems and their MSM cronies.

Instead of outrage, we get cynicism. The fact is that the Dems on the Intel Committee tried to block the release of the four page memo to their House colleagues. They did not want all 435 members to see the report.

Reps like Nunes, Jordan, Meadows, Steve King, Labrador, et. al., want it declassified and released to the the American public to circumvent the MSM. Since the Reps control the House and the WH, the only thing preventing its release are the Reps and the President. Let's see what Reps, especially Ryan, object to its release and for what reasons.

If the report is not released to the public, then it won't be due to the MSM, but rather, the GOP.

Every time I hear about the latest breathless revelation I begin to feel the same way. Whatever happened to:

-The insider witness with all the goods on the Uranium One scandal?

DOJ has just charged one participant, Mark Lambert. Victoria Toensing reacts to indictment in Uranium One case. Watch the video. She believes it is very significant.

-The IG Report, all 1.2 million pages released a week ago that is seemingly forgotten now?

No, the official IG report has not been released. Congress was able to pressure the release of the 1.2 million pages of documents, but the official report will be issued in March or earlier. No doubt the pressure will grow for its release given the revelations in the four page report that all of Congress now has access to.

-Will this four page report generated by the majority on the committee and revealed with such fanfare be met with the same fate?

The question is will it be released to the public over the objections of the Dems? The GOP can make that happen given their control of the committee, the House, and the WH.

The staffer should be fired. Is he/she located in DC or in the local office? I can assure you that Bilirakis is aware of the report.

It should also expose the idiocy of our congress.

So far all blame is directed at the DOJ and FBI for instigating the Mueller investigation with fraudulent documents.

Has it not occurred to anyone yet that congress allowed the Mueller circus without doing their own investigation to determine the validity of the claims against the President?

Note that the present uproar over the FICA court and how it was used is not a result of Muller’s investigation. This information has come to light through a process available to congress.

If there was ever to be a special investigator, that decision should have been made or discarded now, not a year ago before a reasonable investigation of the charges.

So bottom line?

Congress is responsible for wasting a lot of money and disrupting the business of the government, turmoil in the news media and has exposed itself to ridicule from all sides.

By now everyone should understand why no special prosecutor should be appointed until there is a demonstrable crime.

Yes the swamp does need draining.

And congress is half submerged in the nasty swamp waters.

HAT TIP Jacquerie:

To paraphrase John Locke, there is no greater crime than when those in government violate Constitutions.

They are in open rebellion against we, the Sovereign.

Mark the day when Congress/DOJ either prosecutes the FBI/Hillary/dossier/DNC criminals or allows the guilty to walk.

The MSM is given a license to broadcast ‘in the public interest’. Should they choose to continue to stonewall, they should lose their license.
