(Washington, D.C.) Today, U.S. Senator Patty Murray (D-WA), top Democrat on the Senate health committee, issued a statement following the news that 3.2 million more individuals were uninsured by the end of 2017 as compared to the end of 2016.
The results are in and they are tragic. After a year of President Trumps repeated sabotagefrom putting up barriers to health care, cutting open enrollment, and expanding loopholes, to trying to throw the entire system into chaosits concerning but unsurprising to learn that fewer families have insurance and the ability to get the health care they so badly need. President Trumps actions have put millions of lives at risk by putting health care farther out of reach. President Trump and Republicans must reverse course and stop this sabotage before it hurts more families.
Here's an old song I like;)
Patty Murray....still trying to figure out what noise Puget Sound makes.
I remember her saying during a debate that she read the ACA and helped write parts of it.
This guy has his head up is ass. Our rates jumped 50% this year and he and his cabal were no where to be found.
My reps didn’t respond to my calls.
So screw you Murray... you big turd.
Recommend updating title to read, Patty Murray $hits out of her mouth all over herself. Shows how completely clueless WA voters are.
Patty Murray is a she, not a he.
Proof that idiots can elect idiots.
Just curious— how can you tell? I thought she might be a tranny.
Patty , if those people want insurance, THEY NEED TO BUY INSURANCE, just like if they want groceries or a new house or a nice car. There is nothing requiring me to pay for them on any of that and I will not do so unless you take it from me with a gun. I have my own family that I have responsibility for them and I have no desire or responsibility to buy yours because you don’t!!
These people equate having insurance with health, and in fact that is not true. The US did not get any healthier with Obamacare’s bigger numbers and in some areas declined.
It spiked because now people who arent forced to buy non-insurance (high premiums, high deductibles) have decided not to.
Ohh!!!
The rest of the description was accurate.
Ah too bad Patty. Citizens making decisions for themselves. How awful
Our insurance increased 22%. To some who pay $400/mo that doesn’t seem like a lot. To us, it adds to our current $1100/mo. premium and $25,000 deductible.
Count us among the self insured individual plans that cost over $30,000 BEFORE insurance kicks in.
All the voters needed to win a statewide election in Washington can be seen from the top of the Space Needle.
You think healthcare is expensive now, wait until the illegal aliens are given amnesty under the DACA fiasco.
Funny. This was predicted for more than 3 years, but it’s somehow Trump’s fault. And it follows on the heels of progressives just recently crowing that the number of insured was increasing. In fact, the CBO claimed that the GOP bill would reduce the number of insured by 24 million, while Obamacare would increase the number of insured.
Ah, yes, Patty Murray, the stupidest woman in the U.S. Senate.
Of course, the stupidest PERSON in the U.S. Senate remains Little Bobby Casey of PA
I see it as 3.2 million people are no longer being forced to buy something they don’t want to buy.
That’s called FREEDOM!!!
