LONDON (AP) -- Dolores O'Riordan, lead singer of Irish band The Cranberries, died suddenly on Monday. She was 46.
O'Riordan died in London, where she was recording, publicist Lindsey Holmes said. The cause of death wasn't immediately available.
Holmes said the singer's family is "devastated" by the news.

So tragic. My daughter Linda Joy covers Zombie on youtube with her band Impeached. If she died by her own hand, she has become one more senseless victim of sick leftist hatred.
Heart issue is my guess.
Or, suicide..hope not.
Oh wow, that hits hard. Some of the more vivid memories of my high school days included her voice in the background. Whatever the circumstances, prayers for her family.

One site I saw that they cancelled a tour this summer and another said she had back surgery. I wonder what happened.
RIP Dolores O'Riordan. A fantastic voice.
I have my suspicions, but I’ll refrain from posting them out of respect to her and her fans. I could be wrong too.
I won’t speculate, but it does say that she had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder a few years ago.
Good singer but a complete nut job. Irish and performer goes well pretty much dictates she would be a moonbat as well.

Yep, that incident probably was due to the condition.
Very sad news. RIP.
Then again, we’re talkin’ about the Irish. Irish people not fighting would be news!
Agreed on her accent. An Irish accent on a girl just makes me melt.
Beautiful song. My favorite song by the group.
She had chronic health problems her entire life. The back problems were an ongoing thing since the ‘90s and she was also diagnosed with bipolar disorder which, probably, is what led to the arrest mentioned. Hope she finds peace in the afterlife.
Dolores was raised as a Roman Catholic.[20] Her mother was a devout Catholic who chose her name in reference to the Lady of the Seven Dolours. She admired the late Pope John Paul II. After meeting him inside Vatican City, O’Riordan remarked: “[He] was lovely, very saintly. I was mad about him. I thought he really cared for the poor and he loved to meet the people. I saw him when he came to Limerick, when I was a kid. So it was pretty mindblowing to take my mum out to meet him.”[21] She was invited by Pope Benedict XVI at the Vatican’s annual Christmas concerts, and performed there several times, in 2001, 2002 and 2005.[citation needed]
Both my grandfathers died in their mid 40s from heart attacks, so it isn’t beyond possibility that she had a heart attack. However, whenever entertainment types particularly members of bands crap out early another cause of death immediately comes to mind
