FAKE News "language used by me at the DACA meeting was tough, but this was not the language used."
Real Donald Trump twitter account ^ | January 12, 2018 | President Donald Trump

The language used by me at the DACA meeting was tough, but this was not the language used. What was really tough was the outlandish proposal made - a big setback for DACA!

He won’t wilt but Ryan doesn’t need much of an excuse to flip.

Didn't the House already pass an immigration reform bill that has about 95% of what Trump wants anyway?

Never-Trumper turned compromising sometimes-never-trumper Hugh Hewitt dug himself a deep hole. He strongly attacked Trump for using a certain word, not because it was vulgar, but because it was racist. Then Hewitt went into a discussion of countries, including those he has visited, Guatemala, Mexico, etc. He made a whole string of comments that were negative about those countries and how he never wanted to go to any of them. His standard seemed to be “If the door to the hotel opens on the parking lot then it is beneath him.” But he used non-racist soft words like “unpleasant” rather than allegedly racist words.

I found his whole presentation and WAPO editorial to be extremely hypocritical. Apparently it is not racist if you use the PC words to describe reality.

He told us all during the campaign what he thought of political correctness. Guess he is trying it out?

His tweet seems to say that it is not the word he used.

It’s interesting Trump says a big setback for DACA. He holds all the cards. If the Dem’s want to shutdown the government over immigration and DACA, I say go for it.

> These countries governments are non functional, corrupt, and destructive to their inhabitants. What else would you call them?

* Detroit Countries?
* California Countries?
* Democratic Party Countries?

I skimmed through the comments to Trump’s tweet. Is it typical to see most of the comments are by those who hate Trump?

Everyone mad at him FOR SAYING A “BAD” WORD didn’t care about Haiti at all when Tony Rodham got its gold mine rights and Hillary and Bill paid for Chelsea’s $3million wedding with money raised for “Haiti earthquake relief.”

Yep. Here's how the Daily Mail describes it...
"'Why are we having all these people from s***hole countries come here?' Trump said, according to two people who were briefed on the meeting and then leaked the comment to The Washington Post.

Is that word now longer appropriate on Freerepublic?

This should be an interesting discussion.

During discussions like this, I seek inspiration from Johnny Dangerously.

In defence of Haiti, their history is a bit more complicated than the passage of time = expectation of a high GDP.

Yes, your experience is typical. I have read that Twitter uses an algorithm that ensures Trump-negative comments will predominate at least in the top grouping. I’m not sufficiently technical to know for certain if this is true. But Trump has millions upon millions of Twitter supporters, and somehow their comments *never* make it into the top level.

[I read about the algorithm many, many months ago; this has been going on for what seems like forever.]

“Didn’t the House already pass an immigration reform bill that has about 95% of what Trump wants anyway?”

Maybe, it’s a little difficult to follow. I do know that the house side is way closer to what we want or at least it was. The Senate is pretty much a total sell out to the rats.

Trump needs to stop playing with fire and just stop the Daca nonsense now .

There is no crisis .
Only Dems and Never Trumpers want it . The deadline is artificial date he created .

Then no govt shut down over Daca because it's dead .

Why is Trump even keeping Daca alive at all ?..

He promised to kill it during the election .

Killl it .

Daca bring 4 M new Dem voters and flips four key states to blue .
He will be crushed in 2018 midterms just like in 2006 if he caves on Daca It's political suicide .

Just stop the game .
