The revolution will be televised, thats the word coming down from NBC executives who say they will televise any player who chooses to protest the anthem during the Super Bowl. When you are covering a live event, you are covering whats happening, NBC Sports EP Fred Gaudelli told reporters at the Television Critics Association on Tuesday.
If there are players who choose to kneel, they will be shown live, he said.
Gaudelli explained that, if a player chose to protest during the anthem, NBC broadcasters Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth would likely give the playerss name, some background on the a protests, and then get on with the game.
According to Fox News, The anthem will be aired live and is scheduled to be performed by Pink. Potential protesters will have an opportunity to make a statement in front of a massive audience, as 112.2 million people watched Super Bowl LI last season the fifth most-watched program in television history.
The NFLs anthem protest movement began in the preseason of 2016, when then-49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick first sat, then knelt, in protest against police brutality. Kaepernick continued his protest throughout the 2016 season, but has not suited-up for another NFL team since walking away from his contract in San Francisco at the end of that year.
Despite Kaepernicks absence in 2017, the protest movement he began continued without him. Increasing in intensity during Week 3 of the season, after President Trump blasted the protesting players at a political rally. During that weekend over 200 players, executives, and coaches, protested the anthem and President Trump.

Done. Nice day for a hike, a movie, going shopping, or maybe just sit and read a book.
Good that might get it shut off in some VFW halls and private homes.
And many a FReeper will be there to root on their favorite Cop Killer Loving, America Hating, Woman Beating Thug. Go figure.
Oh look, I can’t watch the SB live without shelling out more than I care to. Golly, 4 more viewers down.
Keep an eye on the refs (if one chooses to watch) as I believe they will do what they can to try to keep that from happening. Getting one or two big market/more popular teams in each of the Conference Championships and Superbowl means big $$$$$$$$$$ for the NFL.
Yes, I believe the NFL has gotten that greedy/corrupt and it has been for some time. The commie SJW garbage is just a continuation of that corruption. It's just another reason and opportunity for another pro football league to come along which I would gladly support over the NFL.

I won’t be watching. I will enjoy my day without the Super Bowl and more and more people will be doing the same.
Fox News should play the National Anthem at the same time as NBC and advertise it as an alternative to watching the ingrate protesters. That would be a measurable counter-protest.
I had nothing against the game itself, or probably many of the players.
This protest nonsense is unacceptable to me.
Speaking of advertisers, we should not overlook the fact that many boards of directors and CEOs are globalist transnationals. They push most of the diversity and open borders crap because they think it will benefit their enterprises and their own finances. So, for example, the CEO of Wells Fargo released a video plea yesterday urging Congress to renew DACA. That’s just a single example of what transnationals do to help break down the nation state in furtherance of their selfish goals.
It might be fun to look at the twitter of an NFL traitor and watch the insults fly as the anthem plays.
Sounds like NBC is on to something here. This would be a big ratings draw to see if the network is indeed that stupid. Of course the channel gets switched after the stupidity on parade is over. The game is on NBC this year? I couldn’t bring myself to listen to that liberal a$$ clown Collinsworth even if I cared who would win.
I intimated that earlier, and now I’m trying to think of some way I could do it without boosting ratings and helping them out.

I guarantee if it is a close game, you will see flags on Tennessee and Jacksonville whenever Pitts or NE fail to convert 3rd downs on game winning drives. With that being said, I won’t be watching.
Roll Tide.
You are correct. That’s why I generally have preferred contractor work over the years. The 2008 crash changed that game more than a tiny bit (there’s still work out there - good luck if you’re white, male, American and conservative).
I will be mashing my statement also... Will not be watching this political event.
[Globalist Trans-Nationals]
Yes - working for at least a couple of companies that pretty much could only do business in North America - maybe Canada - I started hearing all this “globalist” talk in the 1990’s; especially while at a health care company what with ISO 9000 talk.
I have not watched any of the NFL for the past couple years. Did not plan to watch this coming Super Bowl either.
