Sessions made ‘cataclysmic mistake’ with marijuana policy change, says ex-Trump adviser Roger Stone
The Washington Times ^ | January 6, 2018 | Andrew Blake

Attorney General Jeff Sessions made a “cataclysmic mistake” by rescinding Obama-era federal marijuana policies, according to Roger Stone, President Trump’s former campaign adviser.

Mr. Stone, 65, formed a bipartisan, pro-marijuana lobbying group earlier this year, the United States Cannabis Coalition, “dedicated to influencing federal level decision makers, including the president, so they honor state’s rights and state mandated marijuana laws as well as reform our antiquated and failed federal drug laws,” according to its website.

Mr. Stone, the president’s campaign adviser through August 2015, criticized the attorney general’s recent decision to roll back marijuana protections during a luncheon Friday at the Tiger Bay Club of Central Florida, the Orlando Sentinel reported afterwards.

The Department of Justice has outlawed marijuana for decades, but the Obama administration put in place policies that allowed dozens of states to legalize the plant without prompting federal interference. Mr. Sessions nullified those policies on Thursday, however, casting uncertainty over the future of existing medical and recreational marijuana programs already in place across the country.

You do have an agenda.

The George Soros drug “legalization” agenda.

Calling freepers Soros followers isn’t going to make you any friends here, regardless of their stance on pot. It’s a sign of weakness in your arguements.

Sessions is showing once again how his priorities are out of control. It’s really a dumb move on his part, when congress is raising its voice louder each day for him to resign.

He could easily reverse that by presenting to a GJ then having Comey and Huma arrested. That could be accomplished in 48 hours if he wanted.

But he’s focused on weed?

>>who smoked pot while drinking alcohol.

This is an interesting observation:

It seems MJ suppresses the healthy urge to puke when toxic levels of alcohol are ingested.

Oops!

Hey, give em a Darwin Award - but KEEP THEM OFF THE ROAD WHILE THEY EARN IT.

Perhaps it is you who is under the influence?

That Soros paranoia is a red flag.

You seem to be having trouble with reality.

With all of the Clinton crimes it like shooting fish in a barrel, yet Sessions chooses this?

Some Republican voters will stay home in 2020 if this bozo continues on a path against MAGA.

Potheads have trouble with reality.

George Soros has bankrolled the drug “legalization” movement for decades, to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars.

You seem to have “trouble” with that reality.

“All of us owe George Soros a great deal of gratitude,” said Keith Stroup, founder of the longtime pothead group NORML, whose reputation was so bad that Soros had to form the “Drug Policy Foundation” to further his drug-pushing efforts.

Accusations of “paranoia” are a standard and tired Alinsky tool of the left.

The left always accuses anyone who does not grovel for their agenda of being “mentally ill.”

Look at their current attack on President Trump.

It is my thought that an arrest and store closing will be the trigger for the defense appealing to SCOTUS

Do you mean that they will close our EL Chapo produce market?
No way Jose !

I wish my state would enforce Weed laws. The stink of weed has become common in public places.

I'm not sure the laws Sessions is enforcing on the Federal level are Constitutional.

Even if they are, it's Sessions playing small ball while he's recused himself from draining the Big Swamp.

“Also, there is an uptick of the number of people who are users going to the ER’s vomiting all over themselves which is an effect of too much pot usage.”

Really? It has been decades since I smoked pot so maybe things are different now but I have never thrown up or seen anyone else throw up from pot usage. Even those who drank alcohol and smoked never seemed to throw up. Pot is, in my experience, a good way to STOP nausea. Maybe these people are doing something else along with the pot smoking.

You see, amusing.

You and I have not discussed Mr Soros, or what he supports, or if I support anything he does, yet you stated as fact my support of his agenda.

That is reality.

The fact that you are unable to have a discussion without lying and calling folks names reveals the weakness of your arguments.

They are appointed by the AG. The criteria is that they be licensed in the state they will practice in. They are not free to make up the law based on public sentiment in their state as you suggest.

>>I don’t think alcohol would stand any chance of legalization

Lots of things are a bit less fashionable today than they were circa 1933.

“The seeds of public relations problems that would sprout over the following century were sown with Coors’s friendship with a prominent supporter of the local Ku Klux Klan.“
