ormer Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., is considering running for the recently vacated U.S. Senate seat held by Al Franken.
Ive had people contact me and urge me to run for that Senate seat, Bachmann said recently on televangelist Jim Bakker's television show. And the only reason I would run is for the ability to take these principles into the United States Senate and to be able to advocate for these principles.

Minnesotans are also hugely tired of the overburdening regulations and fees they pay, and how much of a welfare state it is. Theyre nickel and dimed to high heaven. Trumps 20 regs gone for every one new reg is a highly appealing model.

Won't work. After the character assassination of Roy Moore, no serious Christian will ever be able to run for Federal office in the United States of America, ever again. The second one tries, the media, the Democrats, and the RINOs will gang up on them and find some dirt on them, blow it our of proportion, or just make up whatever lie they need to make up.
In fact, why should we vote in Federal elections anymore? Post-Trump, they're all going to be bought and paid for.

Yes, but she’d be running in a presidential election year. If Trump can generate another Wave-election who knows? Franken’s immediate replacement would have to run in 2020.

There is a special election this Nov unless the appointed senator quits shortly before the special election.

The left would manage to find ballots in trunks if needed. Another Franken debacle! That said, I wish her the most luck anyone can have!

The fact she goes on Jim Bakkers show makes me leary of her now.

Trump lost there by only 1.5 pt. Reagan lost by fewer than 4000 votes in 1980. That didn't turn the state red.

It’s better to try and fail, than to have never tried at all.
You never know, Michelle might just win it.

To: SarahPalin2012
I am well aware of that, and would certainly pull for Michele to win over any democRAT despite the Bakker appearance.
Ibthunk Michele is too conservative to win in this solid blue state however. We’ll find out later this year
