Forestry? Hardest class I ever took was “Introduction to Wildlife Management. I needed a life science to graduate and it sounded like an easy class. Ever take one from Dr. White? Lord knows I worked for that grade but learned a lot from him.

Bass’ name not familiar. IIRC, our commander was named col Bolint. Barksdale was 2AF when I was there. One of the retired base commanders was elected Bossier City Mayor around that time.

22 right now, but about noon it was 45. This is at 7300 feet in the mountains east of Albuquerque.
Stalled high pressure area here. 87 days without precipitation.

It’s supposed to be around 10 degrees outside when the ball drops in Times Square at midnight. That would make it the second-coldest New Years Eve of all time for NYC. I’m about 30 miles west of there, and the low tonight is supposed to be around 5 degrees.
