Unconstitutionally: violation of ICC and 2nd Amendment to start.
You would think that CA residents would go to NV and buy ammo with cash at a gun show.
Meh. Now they can go to Nevada for gambling AND ammo.
And here in WA my dad received six boxes of 20 .223 ($4.47ea) from Cabela’s via FedEx. Shopping from home.
Does Feinstein have enough ammo for her own guns?
I despise CA.
Blatant discrimination against minorities! Why, they will have to show an ID to get ammo and we all know that minorities cannot get identification cards for things like voting.
If they haven’t stocked up on ammo by now they need to go to a physician and a surgeon and get their head out of their butt.
Sounds like opening a gun store just over the border in Nevada would be a good investment.
Of course, the California authorities would likely surveil the place, and hassle any customers on their return to California. .
F California.
California proving, yet again, to be the land of “fruits and nuts”...
Seriously - I laugh every time I see a tag or marking on a box that warns of grave health issues, cancer, reproductive health damage, etc.... in the state of California...
Seriously? These things are only an issue in California? Or are they simply ridiculously over-sensitive snowflakes...oh... wait...
So now the state requires a background check to purchase ammunition? How much is that going to add to the cost of a box of ammo?
Also - isn’t this simply another tax on a constitutional right?
Who’s going to file the first lawsuit challenging the constitutionality?
The case has been similar here in MA, except that rather than a law banning mail ordering ammo, its a licensing decree by the AG that carries no weight outside of MA. Some venders will mail ammo to MA residents (or so I’ve heard, that is) as it is absolutely legal — although even some normally reliable online resources list it as illegal because MA’s gun laws are intentionally vague —, but many simply don’t want the bother and have a blanket “no sales to MA” policy. I know I’ve salivated more than once over ammo deals I have no access to. I imagine some drive to NH but even from Boston that’s a bit of a drive, and I can’t comment on the legality of it — I assume it’s perfectly legal but this is MA. I can’t believe too many people in a huge state like CA, except those right near the state line, can afford to drive to NV just to buy ammo.
so Californication is YET AGAIN adopting blatantly unconstitutional “laws”.....restrictions....tyrannical measures..........(which are also idiotic)....
and where are the lawyers to stop this krap?
Ahhh...Cali, following right in the footsteps of NYS. Our governor is not as dumb as yours, but definitely more loathsome.
Sounds like a Gun and Ammo Store five feet outside the California border could make an easy fortune...
California: American In Name Only.
I tried to order a pocket knife online last week, only to discover that I can’t receive it at my home address or my work address. I’ll bet New York State pulled some weasel crap that only allows deliver to a Gun Store.
What a hellhole of a state. Totally noncompliant with the Constitution. Why even live in such a tyranny zone?
I have always believed that the best tactic is to stock up on powder, primers, brass and either projectiles or the lead to make your own along with an assortment of dies for all the types of ammunition you use. Then keep your powder and primers stored in airtight containers with lots of desiccant. I can churn out a lot of cartridges in a fairly short period of time. If you have the components you can make the types you need at the time instead of doing a lot of guess work about your future requirements.
Load 'Em up the Truck AND MOVE OUT OF BEVERLY; HILLS THAT IS - CALIFORNIA
