Melbourne, Victoria, Australia to be clear.
“The car crashed into a tram.”
What’s a tram? A train?
Smaller than a train - wheeled vehicle that runs on tracks down the middle of the street. Called streetcars in some places.
A couple of Melbourne trams - actually these ones are passing Flinders Street station in the background.
Melbourne has one of the largest tram networks in the world, in addition to our train network.
Aloha Snackbar.
Since the report, however, just says he was arrested, it could also be someone whacked out on drugs/booze.
It could be an accident of some sort. But the location is very interesting.
We’re just hearing there’s been a second man arrested.
Trammy is a train that thinks it is a bus.
Catching a whiff of Mohammad with this “second man” report.
Oh, those! We call them Streetcars in the cities near San Francisco. The local bus is called Muni, and I’m pretty sure I’ve seen those ‘whips’ in the air connected to cables.
Aloha Snackbar
