Foolish Dems have set themselves up for tax cut blowback

The unquestioning media support that Democrats receive for their narratives – regardless of their truth or falsity – has led Congressional Democrats out on a limb that President Trump is about to saw off, when he signs the tax reform bill. Unlike foreign policy or regulatory reform, people pay much more attention to their personal experience than to political rhetoric. In fact, voters care so much about the economy that they will see that the Democrats have been blowing smoke at them.

James Freeman of the Wall Street Journal calls it “The February Surprise” – the increased paychecks that the vast majority of American workers will experience in February, when the tax reform bill is implemented by IRS issuance of withholding guidelines in January. The contrast between the positive personal results and the extreme rhetoric of Democrats opposing it, will come home to voters in a very personal way.

Yesterday, on the House floor, Nancy Pelosi, in the words of Lifezette, went off the deep end, complete with goofy signs.

” Of course you prefer this. So do I. This is the ideal system because it will even tax the so called black market except for off the books purchases and barter. But still much better than what we have and interestingly should bring about the same revenue ( or more) because every transaction is really income for someone. “

THE FAIR TAX WOULD BE THE BIGGEST TRANSFER OF POWER FROM DC BACK TO THE PEOPLE IN THIS COUNTRY’S HISTORY

The Income Tax is also a class warfare tool.

Take it from an accountant, most people can’t even imagine how monstrous and oppressive the IRS is, and how much the current tax code strangles our economy.

The National Retail Sales Tax, or Fair Tax, is a way to take power back from the politicians and lobbyists by doing away with all the federal income taxes (personal, estate, gift, capital gains, alternative minimum, Social Security, Medicare, self-employment, and corporate taxes)

The FairTax is replacement, not reform. It REPLACES federal income taxes including personal, estate, gift, capital gains, alternative minimum, Social Security, Medicare, self-employment, and corporate taxes.

The FairTax is replacement, not reform. It REPLACES federal income taxes including personal, estate, gift, capital gains, alternative minimum, Social Security, Medicare, self-employment, and corporate taxes.

Please quote any parts that might make sense to people who have been brainwashed into loving the income tax.

Ahhhhh grasshoppa. Where are the pubbies and where are the rats. NY and CA can not possibly go more rat. All the Trump states will go more pubbie. Only NY, CA, NJ and CT people will suffer an increase because of the SALT limitations. The pubbies in those states know the evil rats and will not vote for them. We will hold strong on our flanks and take territory ahead.

NOW IS THE TIME TO START THE FAIRTAX PUSH!

OKEYDOKEY! Tax reform passed, and already we can already see some early results - the newly announced AT&T capital expenditure plans and $1,000.00 employee bonuses! And, that is just a start!

Our “Servants” (that would be the Congress!) have missed a golden opportunity to implement REAL tax reform: FAIRtax! They just plain ignored it!

This “ignoring” is all the more maddening because Vice President Pence (when he was a Congressman) and the Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee were long-term co-sponsors of the FAIRtax legislation!

Furthermore, several influential advisors to President Trump are FAIRtax supporters.

So, now that the deck chairs have been rearranged on SS IncomeTaxIRS, ‘tis the time to redouble our efforts to pass H.R. 25 and S. 18, The Fair Tax Act of 2017.

The following Representatives are co-sponsors of H.R. 25:

AMERICA WILL NEVER BE A FREE COUNTRY SO LONG AS THE INCOME TAX AND THE IRS ARE LAW OF THE LAND!

Please go to https://www.fairtax.org and https://bigsoulution.org to find out how you can help us replace the Marxist progressive income tax with the FAIRtax and ABOLISH the IRS!

And, here is a personal to President Trump: “If you really want to Make America Great Again, push the Congress to pass the FAIRtax! And then, sign it into law!”

[NOTE: Please FReepmail me if you’d like to be added to (or removed FRom) the FAIRtax Ping List.]

Hi.

“A huge strategic mistake not making this retroactive.”

According to the Constitution, you can’t

Yes, I know that Clinton and the democrats did it (0bama and his democrats too), but ex post facto laws are forbidden.
