While I am no believer in multi-culturalism I have to admit that from time to time I stumble across something from another land that might have appeal.

Ten undesirable thugs were condemned to death in front of some school children?
So what? The kids were basically in a court room. I’ve seen worse on Judge Judy.
Snow flakes are everywhere.

Yeah, I bet a bunch of former football fans would pack a sports stadium to see some of the “Kneelers” get whacked.

The Chinese have used this approach for drug dealers for decades. It hasn’t eliminated drug trafficking, but their problem is nothing like it is in most countries. The Philippines are applying much the same approach. Contrast these approaches against ours where we are liberalizing the gateway drug, marijuana, and puzzling over why opioid use is totally out of control.

I could live with this penal code. Sell addictive poison that destroys peoples lives and likely could kill them, then it is the same as murder.

The human rights organization asserted that while 1,032 people were executed in 23 countries (excluding China) last year, China sentenced thousands to death and executed them. Wait. What?

At least they took them away for exrcution. In Saudi Arabia they would proceed to lop off their heads with a sword in the public square. I guess it is harder to get some people’s attention than others.

Just a wild guess, but I imagine China doesn’t have the drug problem we have.

The 10 Chinese convicts were found guilty of mostly drug-related crimes by Chinas criminal justice system, which has a 99.9 percent conviction rate.Yeah but maybe they can get a hotshot lawyer that will get them off on appeal! :-)
