Democratic Lawmaker: Women Who Wear Revealing Clothing Invite Sexual Harassment
Breitbart ^ | 12-16-2017 | Adelle Nazarian

A female Democratic lawmaker on Wednesday reportedly said women who wear revealing clothing often create an “invitation” to sexual harassment. “I saw a member yesterday with her cleavage so deep it was down to the floor,” Rep. Marcy Kaptur (D-OH), 71, told fellow Democrats during a caucus private meeting meant to discuss sexual harassment issues, according to Politico. “And what I’ve seen … it’s really an invitation.”

Politico’s unnamed sources said, “the comments left many others in the room stunned.”

“Maybe I’ll get booed for saying this, but many companies and the military [have] a dress code,” Kaptur reportedly said. “I have been appalled at some of the dress of … members and staff. Men have to wear ties and suits.”

Take a look sometime at Al Pacino being honored at the AFI Awards....two women speakers inviting him to ‘seduce’ him ..although satire etc....it’s not far from truth.

A good hypocritical Democrat, is there any other kind, back to blaming the victim.

Maybe we should live under Sharia with the women wrap themselves in barbecue covers so men cannot get excited.

Remember what Weinstein did to Mira Sorvino after she refused him sex, he blackballed her in the industry and convinced Peter Jackson not to hire her for Lord of the Rings.

Weinstein is a gigantic Dem Hollywood money raiser, and they were all in bed with him, literally. I cannot stomach their moralizing anymore.

Trump looks like St Francis of Assisi next to these scumbags.

I think for some young women, it has to do with manipulation and control. Dressing slutty and traipsing along exciting men (who should know better ergo behave better).

How many women do you think dressed down for their meeting with Harvey Weinstein.

well she is right....but for any democrat to say something like this is highly hypocritical, since they have brought us fully into this awful, shameful, disgusting culture.

..abortion, easy access to tax paid birth control, homosexuals elevated to hero status, tolerating a rapist for president....

rats have destroyed our American heritage with their unlimited attacks on God and our religious freedoms as well as allowing illegals to run rampant....

“It has been reported that women become more revealing during ovulation.”

Whoa! Thus signalling to men, “I seek a man with good genes to mate with and to help me raise healthy offspring”.

Sounds like the natural order of things.

Much to do about nothing.

I tell my girls they look hot all the time.

But they don't much care how they look.

They are sexually harassed and coerced into sexual intercourse by the guy the moment I put him in with the girls. He just wants sex.

Our bull doesn't ask permission from the cows to mount them. He knows what his job is. And he hasn't shot a blank yet.

Thought I was talking about humans? No, but it's how it works in nature. :-)

But there is certainly distinctions between a ‘victim’ of sexual assault.....and a ‘come to me daddy’ accusation of assault................Imo most Hollywood stars are in no position to comment on morality in any form. Especially the women.

I'd guess that a few commenters are not fishermen because they do not seem to understand the concept of 'bait' and 'lures'.

Males react to visual stimulation from the opposite sex far more than do females.

Women talk about dressing to look 'attractive'. Attractive to what/whom?

Attracted for what purpose?

Women in the public sphere, especially the workplace, need not be forced to wear burkas. If they want to 'lure', a simple top-water plug with a little bit of wiggle might not provoke too many strikes. Showing up at the office dressed like a spinner bait is really looking for trouble.

As for the mantra of "don't' blame the 'victim' ", if a 'white boy' walks through the 'hood in Philly or Chicago's South Side, dressed in a KKK sheet & hood, waving the Stars & Bars and is immediately beaten to a pulp, guess who gets blamed then?

"I never saw any of the women dressed in slut attire and given my first day experience I could understand why."

Go to any bank these day and you'll be hard pressed to find any male employees....especially White males.

It is actually a pretty simple paradigm. Women are biologically compelled to “display” to attract men, just like many species of birds. And men are biologically compelled to pay attention to female displays.

However, from there it gets dicey. There is no set manner for females to display, so they have to experiment. In girls this might mean wearing outrageous clothes, or fewer clothes, or no clothes at all. But females can’t tell too easily if it is working or not, because men try to be stoic about it. Likely because they are not reading the signals.

A big problem exists when women are older, and have or haven’t attracted a mate, but don’t turn off the display mode. That is, “when I dressed like a slut, I got what I wanted, so I will continue to dress like a slut.”

Modern feminism seems to be a walking contradiction. On the one hand they’ll argue that a woman should engage in whatever sexual behavior they want, when they want, with whom they want, dressing however they want, and putting themselves in any bad situation where the expectation is that only their desires matter and will always be respected - it’s incredibly naive. At the same time they insist that men not look at women as sexual objects....while also insisting that the standard for what is considered “harassment” or “inappropriate behavior” be continuously lowered.

What is accomplished? ...innocent men being “guilty” of breathing wrong and actual victims of real sexual misconduct not being believed. If we were to follow their rules the human race cannot survive.

“I went to the firm that my husband works for Christmas party last week, all the women had their boobs hanging out. Not just the young women either and certainly not the good looking ones. It was bizarre. So inappropriate.”

Aha, so there is hope?

***women who wear revealing clothing often create an “invitation” to sexual harassment.***

WELL OF COURSE THEY DO! We had a young girl who worked at our company who ‘set her cap’ for a young guy there. So she dressed in nice tight revealing clothes to get HIS attention, which she did and liked!

When HE ogled her it was A-OK!
When the rest of us men did, it became sexual harassment.

I’ve found this to be the “rule” everywhere. It depends on who is looking at her.

“Same goes with a woman who wears revealing clothing. That’s often a stupid thing to do. But if she’s then sexually harassed, she’s still a victim.”

Does going commando in a mini skirt count or should that just be ignored?
