(CNN)Sources in the Senate tell CNN they have been worried about Sen. John McCain recently, following a week when the Arizona Republican was kept from the Senate to address side effects from his brain cancer treatment.
The sources described McCain as looking increasingly frail and said he has not spoken up in recent GOP meetings the way he had before, in addition to his absence this week for treatment at Walter Reed Medical Center.

I’m waiting on him to be “increasingly” dead.

McCain’s prognosis is very, very poor. Watched my best friend from my Air Force days die from the same, terrible disease, glioblstoma. My friend was younger, a man of great faith and in tremendous shape—he lived just over four years with the disease. Normal life expectancy for someone with that form of cancer is 15 months, and many don’t last that long. Gary Carter, the former MLB All-Star catcher, lived only 10 months after his diagnosis.
Very good chance we’ll see Martha McSally in McCain’s seat in early 2018. I am no fan of John McCain, but no one should ever have to go through glioblastoma.
Due to my Christian upbringing, I will not comment on John McCain’s health. Simple as that.

He should have better health care. He’s under tricare or the VA. He served 20+ years in the military.
There aren’t any side effects to glioblastoma cancer treatment because there isn’t any treatment. There is no such thing such as chemotherapy because of the blood/brain barrier, so forget that. What treatment he has received is to give him possibly six months to a year at the most from diagnosis.
Why cuz he voted no on healthcare bill. You think God I’d that petty? I would guarantee that God is pleased that he’s pro life though.
What I would like to say about McCain I won’t because I don’t want to be banned for life from Free Republic...
Increasingly frail but too arrogant to resign and let someone with health and a mind be appointed to his position. McCain just proves every day that he is a pathetic little man who is all about McCain first and foremost and to hell with the country. Kind of like his Navy and POW days.
