(CNN)Sources in the Senate tell CNN they have been worried about Sen. John McCain recently, following a week when the Arizona Republican was kept from the Senate to address side effects from his brain cancer treatment.
The sources described McCain as looking increasingly frail and said he has not spoken up in recent GOP meetings the way he had before, in addition to his absence this week for treatment at Walter Reed Medical Center.

With Mitch dragging his feet on the tax bill, it’s likely McCain won’t be able to attend the vote. That and waiting for the AL Dem to get sworn in will give Mitch another excuse for not getting it done.
As I see this situation, I find it incredibly sad and pathetic that a man so sick has to hang on to his “power”, and that his family doesn’t insist he go home. Or does he have a home in DC and not really live in Arizona anymore?

An honorable man would have retired from the Senate the moment he received the death notice from his doctors. An egomaniac would not.

I quite agree. I wish death on no man, least of all perhaps by cancer, and feel very sorry for him.
Selfish to the end, Mac should have resigned at least a month ago and let another take his place, before he got to the point of such fragility that cause votes to be scheduled around himself and his treatment recovery progress from chemo.
Now that the senate numbers are in jeopardy, to think MCCAIN might not make the Tax Bill vote for these health reasons is tragic for Trump if the bill gets derailed before that new Alabama Democrat arrives to presumably vote against it along with his party.
Just nothing to say but he proves selfish to the end and a mean guy.

I want Trump to announce he will not attend any memorial service before fat Megan has a chance to announce they don’t want Trump to attend.
