If Congress doesn't take action now, I may not have my mom with me for the holidays. Nobody wants to separate an 11 year old from her parents. You will go home with them.

My name is Jasmine Lopez, I’m 11 years old and I’m a U.S. citizen. If Congress doesn't take action now, I may not have my mom with me for the holidays.There's absolutely no good reason for this child to be separated from her mother. When the mom gets deported the kid needs to go with her.

Dear Jasmine,
Go with them! I spent a number of Christmases in countries other then the US with my parents and found it very enriching.
Then when you turn 18 you can come back.
And every year you can fly down to visit them. Won't that be FUN!
And you will never have to worry about them being deported because they will be in the country where they belong legally.
Have a nice flight!
