Alabama votes on Tuesday in a special election to fill the Senate seat vacated by Jeff Sessions, now the attorney general. The last polls close at 8 p.m. Eastern. Strong support for Roy S. Moore, the Republican, is expected in rural, mostly white parts of the state and in its northern half. The Democrat, Doug Jones, aims to create a lead in the urban counties that include Birmingham and Montgomery, and across a band of largely black counties.
One critical battleground is a trio of smaller, whiter cities: Mobile, Tuscaloosa and Huntsville. Mr. Moore won a hard race in 2012 by keeping things close there. Mr. Jones hopes to win the cities by a convincing margin.

Jones by 2 is what it loo like to me too. Sucks.
The CNN morgue indicator still says Moore easily.
We will see.
This is gonna play out like VA did in 2016 with the Rat areas swamping the vote totals in the last 30 minutes. Not good...
The progressive Republicans stayed home after being egged on by the GOPe. Blacks didn’t. That might be enough to put Jones over the top.
Jefferson county is the city of Birmingham plus some suburbs. Lots of millennials live there. Jones country.
Someone needs to take user names on FR tonight. This “the sky is falling” is over the top.
Democrats aren't supposed to have that kind of organization in Alabama. How could they mobilize a fraud team so quickly in a state they abandoned long ago?
How could that go unchallenged by the entrenched Republican machine in Alabama?

But is that the case in a solid red state like AL?
Moore up by 16,000 with 49% reporting.
Makes me worried about 2018..if Jones wins tonight in a freakin RED state..what does that say for 2018

I know!!! What’s killing babies compared to (MAYBE) calling some girl “beautiful” in a yearbook 40 years ago?
If Moore loses, we lose, too. That means the RATS can successfully trot out an endless number of lying, RAT women to say ANY candidate they don’t like did X, Y and Z to them (without any proof, and with no way of our guys proving it DIDN’T happen). Absolutely disgraceful.
Having the same issue.
Hit the “last” link and it loaded up the last page fast.
Worth a try.
“Someone needs to take user names on FR tonight. This the sky is falling is over the top.”
Amen!!!
The hand wringer’s brigade is back & they’re seeing disaster everywhere as usual.
It means the GOP is big trouble.
Yep!
Well at least if Moore loses Franken will have to go ahead and resign.
Al Franken was never going to resign. He will not resign, period!
Frankengroper had no intention of resigning. EVER...
