Alabama votes on Tuesday in a special election to fill the Senate seat vacated by Jeff Sessions, now the attorney general. The last polls close at 8 p.m. Eastern. Strong support for Roy S. Moore, the Republican, is expected in rural, mostly white parts of the state and in its northern half. The Democrat, Doug Jones, aims to create a lead in the urban counties that include Birmingham and Montgomery, and across a band of largely black counties.
One critical battleground is a trio of smaller, whiter cities: Mobile, Tuscaloosa and Huntsville. Mr. Moore won a hard race in 2012 by keeping things close there. Mr. Jones hopes to win the cities by a convincing margin.

Thankful that Moore is back up to a higher percentage, but this is nerve-racking!
Free Republic seems to be having problems keeping up tonight. Any ideas ? or other places to watch?
><
I’m watching the NYT link on this thread and Fox. I don’t think it gets any better.
But when Moore wins, I’ll switch to CNN and watch them implode for a while. Lol
The Slimes actually had him losing when their early data came.
The big question was that real data or projections based on ????!
If it’s any indication, the Moore HQ was full of people and the Jones room looked like a morgue.
Roy getting crushed 17k to 3k with only 15percent In from Jefferson. I hope he can make it up big else where.
“The worst I saw on Election Night was the Canadian Broadcasting coverage.”
I watched Trump win on CBS and loved every minute of it. I was able to view other networks, but I kept it on CBS since Nora O’Donnell is fun to look at for a moonbat liberal. They had a couple of idiots on the network when they called Arkansas for Trump ... the one asked “Was that supposed to happen?” Yes, these are the experts the alphabet networks put on their election night panels.

This shouldn’t be close. But the GOPe didn’t spend any money on negative ads on Jones. They didn’t have to fully support Moore. Just tear down Jones but obviously they prefer Jones.
I’m finding that my computer is operating faster than usual on FR tonight.
[On election night Wolf Blitzer begged John King for some good news for Hillary.. King told him there was none.]
Wish I could have seen that. That is some funny stuff right there.
even though Moore is leading as of now,,its still not looking good...more red counties have higher percentage of the votes in then the heavy blue urban areas
well hell, if TraderMode says so!
Hillary won Jefferson County 156K to 134K over Trump...nothing to worry about.
Hannity's on, I'm going back to FOX ...
Ever notice how heavily democrat districts always get their returns in about 15 seconds after the polls close? Same here in PA...Philly and Pittsburgh returns are always in impossibly quick. Maybe it’s because the rest of us actually don’t know the tallies until after we count the votes.
Slimes dashboard if twitching between 53-54 % chance of Moore win. Nerve wracking to say yhed least. But I’d rather be Moore right now than Jones.
